CLAWS isnt just usable, its arguably second best new SAM that was added, funny how CLAWS has a better radar than the SPYDER lmfao and C7+9X like just give the SPYDER ER and fix P5s and actually make the radar good

P5 is arguably better than 9X too irl which is hilarious. Israel has a habit of using American weapons just long enough to improve on them before shifting to their own stuff. (See AIM-9L > Python 3) But beyond that if they just made the missiles track properly and fixed the radar I think we could be happy with it. Its not a huge ask. Make the radar perform like an ESA should, make P5 not wiggle to death and make Derby SR actually track. Problem solved

It could be. I’m no specialist here, but the offset being close mot likely closer to the centre of the missile. How will that impact the missile? We have to see.
It can change the effect of the missile as it should be more closer to where the warhead is, but idk

I wonder why tho. The developers are openly ignoring the primary documents, and are basing things on their own, what seems to be a feel. They keep saying more than 45° to the side is impossible, yet they have not provided a source stating so.
And even better, there are other modern radars that very much break the 45°, not only MHR

Example of a skuranger here. You can see the radars are angled at 15°, yet they go up to 85°. And with the -5°, they reach the 90° total FoV, exactly as exMHR.
That lines up with the AMMR brochure, where manufacturer was kind enough to provide exact values

But for RPS-10 and exMHR that is impossible?
