Well a single chaff defeating a missile, is a big bug…
Well, at least the Pantsir is usable
Its not getting chaffed by a single chaff if u arent fully locked on it in saclos
Out of the top tier SPAAs:
- Pantsir is the second best in anti-air
- IRIS-T SLM is an absolute menace
- CLAWS is useable
- Tan-SAM kai is useable but lacks many key features and the launchers are bugged
- CS/SA5 is in every way just a worse Pantsir and not really worth over the other Chinese SPAAs
- OTOMATIC is fine against helis and attack drones and a fun tank destroyer but ultimately the worse SPAA out of all these (good luck ever killing an Su30 that isn’t completely braindead)
- SPYDER is so bugged and lacking key features it’s nigh-useless
- EldE 98 is much worse tha ItO
- Britain is years behind everyone else

CLAWS isnt just usable, its arguably second best new SAM that was added, funny how CLAWS has a better radar than the SPYDER lmfao and C7+9X like just give the SPYDER ER and fix P5s and actually make the radar good
And look at speed and trajectory of the AIM-9, it’s like compare TOW vs Starstreak
P5 is arguably better than 9X too irl which is hilarious. Israel has a habit of using American weapons just long enough to improve on them before shifting to their own stuff. (See AIM-9L > Python 3) But beyond that if they just made the missiles track properly and fixed the radar I think we could be happy with it. Its not a huge ask. Make the radar perform like an ESA should, make P5 not wiggle to death and make Derby SR actually track. Problem solved

We aren’t asking to be given the new Pantsir for the next 5 years just some obvious fixes to a vehicle that is currently broken
Drag should reduced as well
I mean it’s not hard to be the second best new AA when all competition for that title is either bugged to hell or just straight up bad.
