if we are talking about the next update, the devs have more than enough time to fix the spyder
I’ve had relatively good luck hitting targets up to about last night, when it stopped wanting to hit helicopters. My win rate currently sits at 44% and two days ago it was 25%. It currently sits with about a 2KD.
ah yes cant wait for the next major update for them to add the SPYDER AIO (mod)

We Israeli mains need to get aggressive on this. We don’t main Russia fixes to our stuff isn’t gonna come because someone at gaijin was looking over stuff. If we dont keep screaming it in their ears they will ignore us and continue to make Israel worse and worse. Our complacency is allowing gaijin to get away with this. We need to speak with one voice loud enough for them to hear us. We dont have the players of the big three nations or the favoritism of Russia. If we keep settling for just enough and empty promises Israel will eventually be unplayable compared to every other nation in the game. Right now the iron is hot, update just dropped and fixes release every day we just need them to see we arent playing around. SPYDER is a broken mess right now and it’s unacceptable.

makes me wonder if since vehicles in this game are advertised for sale, they could possibly get into trouble for misrepresenting them in game?
Doubtful, because the info is classified most of the time. Which means it’s a “best guess” but their unwillingness to use information from sources like manufacturers brochures and sales is annoying

I was legit told that Rafaels website for SPYDER AiO and Python 5 was “not a valid source”

Only premiums, and only if there is a massive change to them that changes what it was capable of at the time of sale, which has only happened a couple times where they had to offer refunds if someone wanted them. TT vehicles dont fall under that because there is no requirement for a monetary exchange
He means more like slander I think. Misrepresenting their product and claiming its worse than it is which could impact sales irl
then absolutely no they cant get in trouble for it. War Thunder isnt a sales source for vehicles, nor is any other video game. Worst that could happen is a licensing issue which nobody is going to bother with because it costs money and they cant force someone from another country into their own country to go to court over something like that

For now we should focus on getting SPYDER fixed. Fix the radar and the missiles. That’s all we ask. Ample evidence has been supplied so now we just need to keep reminding them until they get tired of hearing us
You mean like the 7 months of the APS on the Merkava 4 being broken? Or the bomber cockpits they promised us 7ish years ago…

I get that too, but it’s only because the enemies ignore me. Like being tracked by a radar missile and still flying in a straight line.
When they try to evade, even a Strike UCAV like Orion or Wing Loong can dodge my Derby at 11km+.
It’s really down to the stupidity of the enemy and any enemy that acknowledges “oh, there is a Spyder, I need to take care of that” will kill you, or do whatever they want to do without a problem.
Getting a great KDR but with most of the kills being Strike UCAVs, Su25 (which are 0.7-1.7 BR below you) and Ka-50 doesn’t really mean anything other than confirming that it is at least slightly better than a Chaparral.
I play Su30 and Rafale a lot and both of them have no problem not even with IRIS-T. They just need to play a bit less aggressive, focused on keeping distance and/or staying low, and of course not flying in a straight line for prolonged periods. I mean even a Spike gets air kills when a Su or A10 mastered the skill of flying in a perfectly straight line.
They need to
- fix the radar
- fix the datalink, ARH start, etc.
- make the python avoid flares as to be expected from its seeker
- give it the Derby ER so that at least strike UCAVs are a guaranteed kill (for anyone else they will anyways be a threat way below the IRIS-T because they can notch or use ground clutter).
