Can confirm. If you enter gunner sight you can only see 1 sweep every 5-6 seconds or so and in sensor it’s only one slow beam

The radar screen doesnt match at all I would post pictures of video but I am an Xbox player so that sort of thing is difficult to provide outside of very low quality phone camera footage from my TV screen

At least one to my knowledge. Gaijin doesnt care tho. If they did they would’ve fixed it already instead of hiding the fact it doesnt work under a visual that doesnt show the real effect

Anybody else noticed that any round with explosive mass, like HEAT or HE gets multiplied when it hits the radar? The explosion seems much bigger than when it hits the radar of other SPAAs like the Pantsir.

I had the Same issue. My phyton 5 got very easily flared by a Helicopter. But at the Same time a Stinger that a teammate fired ignored all flared as it should bei. Does someone know If there is already a Bug Report about this issue

Even slm was Missing heli today they were flaring it left and right

I did half of the time if you shoot pantsir radar with heat it only get damaged but on if it’s a any other spaa you are mostly done maybe except 2s6

Ive been hit with the HEAT-VT from Abrams and Leopards but I expected those to kill me. What i find more odd is that APFSDS causes my missile rack to detonate and kill me. I havent had a chance to test this against other new AA but ik for a fact older ones don’t suffer this problem

Maybe they changed it cuz i remember it perform the same as the hovet and it was notched easily

Anybody already reported the Derby SR going pitbull only when in 2 km range of the target?

tryna find sources for that atm because I know they will want spec sheets even though its a copy of the derby for the Jets (or should be at least)

Yes it functions as one, whats even funnier, if you compare it to the Elde 98s radar (side by side) the Elde 98 actually has a quicker update cycle than the SPYDERs (visually at least in sensor view)

I just had a match using the Derby and it locked on immediately at an MQ-9 11km out. Maybe fixed?

I also tried the Python 5 in a long range shot (14km)

At first its all normal, following the IOG (wish it had DL but ok), wide FOV, still no stable track.

Then, at 9km~, it locked on, narrowing the FOV (In contrast to stuff people stated here)

And then it gets weird, it wiggles nonstop losing lock for 0.1 seconds and widening the FOV, then narrowing again and it goes back and forth until 5km~


Finally it hit, a non-manoeuvring target, by sheer luck :)

The autopilot needs fixing, And DL needs to be added. And Derby ER of course. Good luck to us all if we see half of those fixed until next summer.

I’m new to this topic here so I am not up to date with all the reported and known issues regarding the Spyder. I myself don’t have it, but a friend of mine does and was really hyped about it, until it came out in the state it did, making him even uninstall WT for some time until everything is fixed.

What he told me regarding specifically the Spyder is that the Pythons seem to never really enter their own terminal guidance and instead seem to stay in IOG. Is that true? I myself can confirm that the guidance of the missiles on Spyder is really wonky.
