Yeah, I don’t get it. I’ve tried breaking the lock right after launch, but that just causes the Python to aimlessly fly in circles directly above you lol.
(It even TK’d a team mate who was like 200° the other direction from the enemy I launched at once lol).
Your right, I though it did, it has 18 Control surfaces which it seems 4 in total are used, it says it can pull 50 but yeah its still weird and yeah Im not gonna make my final decision on how bad the SPYDER is until missiles are fixed (Proxy and tracking) becuase I’ve noticed my I-Derbys never have their seeker turn on and fly on Datalink and IOG the whole time.
Im still noticing Python wobbles during the vertical launch stage in test drive, but I do agree said wobbling is less dramatic in flight than regular battles.
But I would throw a caveat in there, because it’s not entirely a fair test. Planes in test drive fly on rails at low speed, whereas in battles, they’re typically much faster and maneuvering. How much that changes things is hard to say.
i guess its the only reason, its the ultimate torture
not deleting Israel, not keeping the vehicle but censoring the symbols,
just add things, but halfway, and keep ignoring bug reports.
Just pointing out, this part is incorrect
Pnatsir search is not PESA iirc, but a planar MSA.
Depending on the sellected elevation, it scans in either 2, 4 or 8 horizontal stripes, meaning it takes 2-8s for a complete scan.
I know we have far bigger fish to fry here, but If they have no intention of letting us lock Pythons with the optic, it would be nice if they could link the launcher rack to the radar deployment.
As in to say, when you retract the radar, it also retracts and stows the launcher. (Since you can’t fire them without the radar deployed anyway)
Really annoying how it keeps auto unfolding every time you slow down whilst moving. I just want a way to stow it away until i choose to deploy it.
All Spyder is really any good for is LARPING a euro truck simulator in custom battles, and this is cramping my style a bit lol.
