oh, alright my bad
Mr is using different radar tho which does require it to have a separate wagon? i think it has the EL/M 2084?

Does this thing has a wagon?
we found a new ones for the spyder ADS SR

Most MR systems use Elta’s EL/M-2084 radar yes, but that’s not always the case:
(Keep in mind there’s two main EL/M-2084 radar brains, the mini and the regular one. The mini is shorter, the regular is taller, pretty much the basic jist of it)
-
In some cases they’re stationary (On SR/ER systems it appears that stationary systems are used by Singapore and Vietnam, as well as on Vietnam’s MR systems):

(Vietnamese)

(“Mini” example) -
In some others, they’re towed (I haven’t found where this exact system was used, note it’s the mini version):

And most importantly for War Thunder, some have truck based applications:
Czechia 🇨🇿 and their SPYDER-MR system’s new Tatra 817 based Elta EL/M-2084 MMR “Mini” truck:

• Israel 🇮🇱 Tatra 815 based EL/M-2084 truck, I’ve yet to see if it’s been used with their SPYDER systems, very possibly have:

Some don’t even use the EL/M-2084, for instance Philippines uses the 2138 and another I’ll show in a sec:
• Philippines 🇵🇭 and their SPYDER-MRs Tatra 817 based EL/M-2138 Green Rock vehicle.

Most notably, some SR/ER AND MR/LR systems use the M-2106 ATAR:
• (Singapore, Philippines with the Green rock one as well, Vietnam, Israel testbeds. Still need to look into this and all the platforms it’s been applied to as well as countries and systems using them)

(Lower range radar, like 60km range iirc)
I see
2106 NG has 100km range max, and it is paired with SR/ER.
Ah I seem to have gotten the UAV detection range, mb. Seems it’s somewhere in the ballpark of 70km-110km for fighter aircraft, more than enough for War Thunder:

I bet you all my money at this point Gajijn will never add this for isreal
Posted it already in the HVSD thread a long time ago
Also this is off topic, as the Spyder doesnt use it
Anyway, I’m currently in the works of the SPYDER-LR suggestion. Might have some delays (not counting suggestion wait time in this case) due to irl stuff.

Omg this picture its gold, gonna use it later.
Do you know aprox G overload?
What missles does it use and how does this SPYDER look?
30km is extremely optimistic take, against defending targets I’d say you can count yourself lucky if you score hit past 10-15km, when missile seeker announces itself on everyone RWR as far as 20km + everyone who grinded their way to the top got acquainted with defeating those without consent.
You forgot I-Derby ER. There is no problem with integration

Technically true, but I personally don’t consider them an SR system anymore in that case, as that something I’d consider ER based on what I’ve read, allow me to explain:
In some cases, the militaries using them continue to refer to them as SR, even when they use I-Derby ER missiles. My personal example I go by is India’s SPYDER-SR, which has I-Derby ER now following their acquisition. As such I now refer to them as a SPYDER-ER system, even when it continues to be officially referred to as an SR system. Rafael is still Rafael and their designations aren’t very good, so I kinda feel like it’s a ‘to each their own’ thing when it comes to designations, but it is completely compatible and used by some systems still designated SR.
(Something also worth mentioning is there’s two different SR/ER launcher types offered, being the rotating and elevating launchers (1x4), and the standard vertical launchers like we have ingame (1x4 or 2x4). If you want to call the directional one the SR or the vertical ones the ER, as since some Rafael imagery does depict those systems being designated like such, I wouldn’t complain at all. I just happen to be of the opinion those different launcher types aren’t exclusive to one destination each, but rather that the missiles determine such a designation.)
At least, I’m fully of this opinion when it comes to MR/LR systems, so I’ve decided to apply it here as well to most cases (At the very least the vertical launchers lol).
Spyder oh, I miss the “never” old days when you were usable
