It doesnt even need to be that strong. Just usable. Now I’ll be the first to say I tend to do quite well in the merkava, but i know it should be beefier. But I am ok with the merk as is what we all need is gaijin to stop gimping Israel every update and make them at least have the parity with other nations they should have

Yeah. I suppose for balance issues it doesn’t need to be as good as it is IRL. But it should be a lot better than it is. I shouldn’t have to play it like it’s a light tank.
The best thing I can do with the SPYDER most matches is deny airspace to CAS without killing them. Although I have gotten some long range kills. My guess on that is that they had a serious skill issue and just flew at me in a straight line.
I just tested SPYDER no DL channels, radar is beyond useless. I could deal with the missiles being a joke but without the radar I literally cannot fight back. Ffs gaijin really?

You are wasting your time. They won’t do anything with it. I know you love this game, but I suggest moving, on it’s just not worth the energy. I’ve been trying for the past 3 years to get the Merkava (which i literally served as a gunner in) have its correct armor and weight. But gaijin knows better than me :)

Yeah. I’m hoping the player base bands together. None of the new SPAA including the SPYDER are any where near to being on par with the Pantsir. That’s what we were promised. In some cases (like Sweden) the new SPAA is actually worse.
I would say the Elde has some things going for it. Its tiny and IRIS-T is quite good up close. Its like a smaller Type 81C. It does not however deserve 12.0
