Anyone else think spotting is bad in VR?
I’m not sure if it’s the case for every VR user as different headsets vary in quality but for me on a rift s it isn’t great.
Firstly there seems to be a set distance where a plane will render in and it flicks on/off like a light switch if you go in and out of that range. Also enemy planes are really faint almost transparent making them impossible to spot sometimes especially if you are above them on certain terrains like water or trees.
Maps like Maginot line and Sicily feel unplayable at times. Maybe due to the different contrasts.
Half the time the only way I know if someone is below me is from the wing vortex if they happen to turn. This makes playing BnZ a pain in the butt.
The amount of times I’ve been diving after a plane almost in gun range and it just vanishes in my scope. This mostly happens on dover strait above water.
I feel like it’s a contrast problem where enemy planes are too faint.
I’ve replied and made posts about this since the direct hit update but still barely any improvement. That was almost 2 years ago now.

It isn’t just VR. It’s also on computers. For me even if you put the cross hair on the enemy tank and then hit the spot hot key it’s a 50/50 chance that it will or not.
I haven’t played on desktop in a very long time but I don’t doubt what ya saying.
I only play SB air battles
