You fly the exact same race hour after hour, day after day, and make sure your number on the leaderboard is below 1,000 before the event ends. But every time you do not do the race, you drop down in the leaderboard by the hundreds.

Indeed, and it was even a completely free reserve vehicle once, I think. This is some really unnecessary artificial scarcity that they are doing with the Race.

Can we just abolish this leaderboard nonsense? It does nothing for the health of the game. and if we don’t have that option make it at least the top 10,000. There is like 200,000 people so every holloween less than 1% of the active players are getting the Po-2

IIRC it depends on where you place and your average per game score. I didn’t play all that much, I just “got gud” and finishing consistently in the top 3 positions for a few dozen games.
I don’t do the races anymore for just that reason, I already have all the vehicles.
I can live without any new decals and such . . . it’s ok.
At least everyone has a shot at the vehicles if they do not have them.

But with the leaderboards being constantly updated, don’t you have to consistently race until the very deadline?
I usually at least go for the decorations, decals and stuff like that. But no point in pushing further is i already have the vehicles :)

Same here i managed to get the po-2 last year finally and now i only go for those other rewards at 750 points but yea i lowk dont like those people that own the po2 but steal the spots in the top 1000 for people who dont even own it they should really rework how that works with giving the top 1000 that dont own the plane get it
