Split Tracked Rapier into a early/late standard (the hitile is born!)

The Javelin is SACLOS, its the Blowpipe that would be manually guided

Also, I wouldn’t want to see the ZA-35 go up in BR, as that would limit the SPAAs available at 8.3 to the Marksman and the Falcon, whose AA potential is severely crippled by its BR.

I mean SACLOS when I say manually, not MCLOS, seeing as you need to babysit it into the target, and i’m unaware of the fact that it has any type of target tracking available meaning you have to ajust your mouse manually to guide it in

any MCLOS SAM would be in the 8.x bracket hopefully, would only be significant threat to helis

Ah, fair.
Yeah, a Javelin/Blowpipe launcher would really be rather hard to use against planes at that BR.

Spoiler

Though I’ve had some limited success using Swingfires against planes and helis in the past lol

While I would love a blowpipe/javelin system to be added, sadly we are not at that point yet. Right now we are at a “make do with what we got”.

The model can 100% be used with an impact only missile, so pushing for it makes sense.

Also, do remember its still a saclos system on rapier, you get radar assist yes, but you still have to manually lead like stormers starsreak to hit things.

the Javelin would be alright considering a 6x zoom isnt too high and wouldn’t make SAM engagement ranges too had to track manually (besides you can just go into 3rd person view)

Swingfire best AAM, not far off around 7% of my kills in the Striker are to aircraft

Bonking helis and silly CAS players that think they don’t have to maneuver is one of the most satisfying things to do with the Swingfire

yep, combined with their manoeverbility helis don’t stand a chance when they go for rocket rushes, and even helis that get too close ATGM lobbing

oh damn, missed that report

Edit: I clearly didn’t i just checked it and saw i had already clicked the “I have same issue” button

nice,

Band report had nothing on “Fixed next Major” so i assumed it wasn’t here yet

Now when Thermals implemented and Ammuniton fixed, i want my 75mph, Thermal, radar guided falcon

when that happens it will be such a devil, easily 9.0/9.3 material in the tank-tank department, especially when the turning radius is reduced

Stop it guys :(

You are going to ruin my 8.3 lineup

Dont worry, Im going to add more Marksman (that will also go up in br)

Living up to your name, eh?

I still admire you for the work you put into making these bug reports and suggestions!

I try my best in both cases

btw do you happen to know how much pen FAPDS (gosh darnit, cant they pick something else as the designation?) would have?

APDS with a HE-like post pen effect sounds like pure evil

Nope, but remember a importatn thing about it, it goes into both AA and AT belts, so you could carry whole storage of them.

Oh god, you are gonna make these systems end up at 10.0+

Imagine impact fuse rapier being the lowest BR SPAA at 8.0 and up xD

Possible, as Falcon is getting closer and closer to getting LRF, that will resault in BR bump for sure (guilty again ;P).

RiP British SPAA above 5.3

Was fun to have some at 8.3 while it lasted lol

Just remember the later gepard should have access to similar ammunition but gaijin has yet to give it to them, so regardless of how many sources you have they’ll always play the card of (Ammunition is a balancing factor) nothing is garenteed.
