SPGS are not TDS gajin

Got that right, although I do miss some paper tanks with massively large dongs, but I know it’s for the better.

That ridiculously long 88 is acually real design, whats even more crazy is that at first it was supposed to be 130 calibers long but deemed too long and “shortend” to 100 calibers: https://www.tankarchives.ca/2015/06/88-cm-l100-pak.html?utm_source=chatgpt.com

You got it, it’s the 88 L/100. WoT allows you to change weapons, but nothing was as long as the E50 88 L/100 when I used to play back in the day. Who knows what they’ve got there now.

I dont play wot but funnily enough i keep up with the tanks they add because i just love how they bring some blueprints and sketches from ww2 and cold war to life and also make up some crazy shit of their own. Right now they have autocannons, flamthrowers, quad tracked tanks and all kinds of crazy shit like that. Its honestly such a tragedy how terrible the gameplay of that game is…

There was a time - before the game even went retail where each teams line-ups would have a resemblance of normalcy. I’m talking like 2010:

It’s what I have to give Gaijin credit for. Not everything in War Thunder is historically accurate to the highest degree, but it’s nothing… absolutely nothing… compared to the shenanigans of that other game. As long as Gaijin can keep those values, then War Thunder will be fine. Besides, they already have another game - Cross Out, where they can put all their crazy mad max flame throwers and quad tanks.

Don’t even know why they added it, it’s total trash.

seems that you’ve ratioed this guy

More so today than in WW2. Back then tanks could actually tank shells from other tanks to a certain degree. Today any tank can vaporize or completely cipple any other tank with any hit, with the main factors now being how fast you can detect the other tank, which has resulted in tank on tank battles becoming extremelly rare with both parties just chosing to not take that fight unless it’s unavoidable or there is nothing else around on the battlefield to deal with it.
