Yeah but since I normally see MLA/MLD’s etc in my F.3 neither am I chap. haha

When attacking from low to low, the missile will not hit due to multipath problems, but in my experience, it is not uncommon for missiles to be guided within proximity fuse range in lookdown/shootdown situations such as the one mentioned in the title.
However, at low altitude, the game seems to disable the proximity fuse and even the direct hit fuse.
Isn’t that the real cause?
since you said most engagements are at 4-8km, why is the 30G 530D below 25g 7F/M?
I’ve found it to be defeated much easier than other SARHs.
