Since the last patch the search radar on SPAA does not seem to be working properly. When sitting with clear LOS to a plane I am not getting any indication of it on the search radar. (Edit: This is across all the platforms in the 8.3 → 10.0 range that designate friend or foe on the radar screen. Radars like the Santal’s which do not separate between the two operate normally).
A couple additional observations:
- This happening with or without IRST active
- It has happened over a few dozen matches playing various SPAA up to 10.0 that identify friend/foe
- I can visually lock the target and the tracking radar will work fine and show up on the scope. However if I unlock the target will disappear from radar. Happen 100% of the time and LOS is not a factor.
- Heat seekers work as normal and pickup targets as before.
- Friendly aircraft show on the radar as normal, with the friendly icon identifier. This includes recon drones. Enemy A/C and drones do not show up.
Anyone else seeing anything similar? Also worth noting I don’t know if this is an issue with higher BR SPAA as I do not own any.
