Hello everyone,
With the introduction of the new Anti-Radiation Missiles (ARMs), keeping track of which missiles can target which vehicles has become a bit difficult.
Therefore, I have built a color-coded grid that cross-references every Rank V–VIII SPAA and SAM system against every Anti-Radiation Missile currently in the game (dev server). I also list which nations and planes get access to any given missile.
I will try to keep this sheet up to date as things change. Please feel free to check it out, leave your feedback or suggestions below, and hopefully it helps you out!
Also, please keep in mind I was manually looking through all the plane loadouts so I might have missed some things. If you find any missing or wrong information, please let me know.
Check it out here:
UPDATE: Chart should now be up to date with live server.
changes:
- corrected some Aircraft names
- japan gets Kh-31PD on SU-30 (might have missed it on dev server)
- china gets new missile YJ-91A a slightly lower performance Kh-31PD
availible on some toptier aircraft (instead of L111-L113 series)

its funny because you cant use any of them reliably in air sim/rb cause the airfield spaa have their radar turned off constantly unless a friendly gets within range. I feel like they should make them all stay on as if they’re scanning for threats.
I just wanna lob some stupid fast missiles at unsuspecting aa from across the map without having to get stupidly close just for the radar to turn on.
yes, I had similar issue on the dev server in the nuclear thunder game mode when trying to target the Ito and pantsir(?)
i had some success with just waiting for them to fire at me and then counter fire, this would often make them switch targeting to the missile which allowed me to evade safely, but i guess this wont work for the airfield since there are too many AA stationed there
Its purely because their ai tracks you without turning its radar on, if they set the radar to be always on as its meant to while defending an airspace then you could effectively launch on them, if you somehow manage to lock an ITO in air rb and spectate the Kh-31PD all the way to the airfield you will notice its radar spinning and tracking while being in the turned off position (yes rendering can mess with stuff like that BUT in ground rb outside of rendering range only the search radar will spin at a slower rate without looking as if its turned off). and obviously ground can mess with the locking of spaa but not when you’re flying at 8km altitude with a CLEAR view of the enemy airfield.
I have learned how to use them quickly in air rb with the ai spaa but im not playing ground to learn the ESM tactics and quick switching between targets, i’d rather test that in air rb BEFORE going into grb.
