How can a competitive MMO game allow such massive balance issue?
You see that most players are already scared away from top tier naval bracket (its madness). Just bots left or what??
These two Soyuz players ended the match with 12 kills / 11 kills.
All other BB not even 1/4 as efficient than these.
Are devs even aware what they did? Considering this disparity, quick fixes are neccessary. Soyuz shells are too powerfull and this ship is just indestructable. Both lasted the whole match. Ppl even stopped shooting at them cause its just a waste of time. It really can’t stay like this.
This ship isn’t even real, how can you program it to be that op?`Its not healhty for WT naval. Really not. You can’t introduce a ship which ist like 5x as powerful as all others without any counter and just let it be, killing off that game mode!
The ship is real, and so are the laid British ships that’ll be added in the future where they may very well be the next attention of your wrath at this rate.
They will adjust BRs when it’s visible enough, so be patient.
Eh… There is a lot they could do to mitigate its performance in the meantime. For example all British ships have a nerfed fire rate (15" ships should be 25 not 30 second reloads and Rodney should be 30 seconds not 35) no official reason has been given other than “the devs think its good enough” (Seriously, the reponse to the bug reports)
if the relaod rate doesnt matter if its not 100% historically accurate, (especially when you look at ships like Roma with 45 second reload and Gnes and Sevatapol which should have 70 second reloads). Then Soyuz reload could be increased from 28.6 seconds down to 35 seconds as a starting point and icnreased further if necessary.
Especially considering the guns were never actually fitted to a ship and what figures exist for it were from a land based test and all other ships have been denied buffs to their turrets (such as fire rate and accuracy) from any documents that use land based tests. So its rather unfair.
for a ship the Soviets probably couldnt have built. Giving it the most opptomistic stats possible is rather unfair when everyone else usually doesnt have anywhere close (heck, Vanguard still has the same FCS as Hood, even though it should have been a lot more advanced)
Something does need ot be done. I gave up playing anything at7 7.7 or above because facing a Soyuz is just not fun and I know many others like @SPANISH_AVENGER have done much the same
There’s NO balance or historical reason why Soyuz should have a 28 second reload.
Balance wise; why does it have to reload faster than Iowa when kt has the same penetration with twice as much TNT equivalent?
Historically, the guns were never fitted and fired from the turret. What’s the source for the 28 second figure?
But above all; debs have always claimed that, in Naval, reloads are first and foremost a balance factor. So how on Earth is Soyuz reloading faster than Iowa when the shells and armor are significantly better as well?
It should have a 35 second reload or, at most, a 30 second one. But no reason for it to be 28 over Iowa’s 30.
