The Soviet P-39/-63 aircraft will keep its 37 mm AP ammo for technical compatibility, so I doubt they will remove it for the sake of historical realism.
But it’s strange that you cannot change the 37 mm ammo layout for the Soviet P-39/-63 to anything other than the “Default” layout, unlike the American counterparts.
