Sovetsky Soyuz: Red Oceans

I see, glad each nation can at least have something in that regard.

r/WarshipPorn - [OC][1600x740] blueprint of the Italian battleship Ansaldo UP-41.

There’s a sketch, you’d lose the great Pugliese system anti torpedo defence, but that was hotly debated in effectiveness and the system they used was already good enough.

What did you expect? Air and ground are matured. Naval is still at 7.0 [7.7 - 8.0 post-decompression].
It’s naval focuses for a while. ;)

Another bote. All 8 Naval players will love it!

If I had nickel for every time I heard that same joke…

If GJ proceeds with making it a single plate of cemented armor @ 420mm, this would need to be bug-reported. Laid down ships are fair game, but technical inability to make good armor isn’t.

We would be be able to afford those premium boats with those nickels

Let’s remove the R2Y2’s for being paper, then add an equally paper ship into the game (this ship wasnt built)

The ship was laid down though, was partially built and the plans were approved. While losing the r2y2s sucked, they never got to a partially built state. At least the Thai subtree can give replacements.

You mean copy paste that yields no benefit?

Various other stuff was laid and even made it to mockup like the Koelian 341, Ho-Ri and R2Y2 (v1), yet they chose to remove some of it

I’m all welcome for prototype/half built stuff but PLEASE be consistant. Currently they are extremely inconsistant with what they add n remove based on “historical”

When Iowa? The best battleship in history!

all of these ships are cool and all, but i simply KNOW that there will be no decompression in the upcoming update
you just KNOW gaijin will fumble it

The cocelian I believe should’ve stayed yes, the ho ri and r2y2s v1 were never partially built (although the latter was planned) but the v2 and V3 were blueprints.

Again, I wish they could stay but gajin is a bit odd with this kind of stuff.

r2y2 v1 was partically built, Hori was a mockup

it has been said many times, Naval has different rules to Ground/Air

It takes Multiple Millions in cash and years to create a ship and an immense amount of material

It takes a couple thousand and weeks to make a tank/plane, so prototypes and mock ups are infinitely easier to make

For Navy ships, mock ups and full scale prototypes just are not feasable, hence the different rules gaijin sets

If the USSR gets a ship that is 21-19% complete, I propose this…

This adds to the inconsistancy of gaijin. for some modes its A-OK but for the rest its not

personally it’s cherry picking but again I dont like how inconsistant they are

well, two of the h39 ships were laid down which apparently is the magic line the snail draws for what can be added (which in case of russia ofc helps otherwise there coulndt be any near top tier battleships). While i think it is good that more than three nations get top tier battleships that can hold their own vs each other im not sure if it’s the way to go to implement them with all their impossible we-wish-to-have-but-will-not-in-20-years-be-able-to-build-it-features. Why not add it with something more plausible and (maybe) possibly achievable for the time.
Why should so many actually working and proven designs of legendary vehicles which for actual reasons have to deal with cutbacks due to design and actual technical limitations compete with stuff that is just pure fantasy and would have never been completed?

What would we have in game if some bozo back then just decided to lay down the craziest blueprint imaginable like h-44 for the first 5% even if it would have been completely useless because of missiles not even 10 years later?

WTF? Really? CAP bro like even Scahrnhorst and Bismarck had 30sec and so did Yamayo.

I like your thinking there
