Sovetsky Soyuz is blatantly Overpowered

Well, the fact that hasnt been fixed for multiple years now leaves me with even less hope for other naval related stuff but whatever…The new shell and bomb splashes look awesome though. Those will come in handy when playing the actual gamemode that plays like a naval engagement, ec on the weekends, that you for some reason can only play on 2 days of the week in realistic.

Hipper OP, refuses to sink (this is a joke)

Ill post it here as well since its one of the bigger Naval threads. Apparently the Oklahoma Coupon is missing the Vehicle Rank Multiplicator (at least for Rank 7) at the moment so i created a Report for it Community Bug Reporting System . Lets hope they fix it ASAP so that the grind doesnt become unnecessarily time consuming.

Go into literally any major Russian tank museum and you’ll see T-34s, IS-2s, T-54s, T-55s, T-62s, T-72s etc. Those aren’t experimental hangar queens and they’re literally some of the most battle tested tanks ever built. The T-55 alone completely destroys this argument because its a post WW2 soviet tank that is basically in Russian museums everywhere and it fought in basically every Cold War conflict imaginable.

And the prototype point is nonsense too because every country preserves prototypes. Also you talk about the Objekt 120, 292 and 279 like they were fake paper tanks but they were actual built vehicles meanwhile the Löwe never got past design and mockup stage. Your message is just outright historical revisionism

I agree.

SovetSky isn’t over preforming. I don’t see how people reach this conclusion so often.

In the case of the Yamato, it was bugged / incorrect, and has been corrected.

But by the assumption that “if It does good, therefore it’s over preforming”

Then I suppose the South Dakota is too?

As it has significantly less games, and nearly the same KDr

Pixel hunt just like on the Scharnhorst.

?

The argument is literally the other way round lol something with a lot of games thats performing very well is evidently op while something with very little games might be just a statistical outlier.

Here’s the actual images compared to your very skewed ones.

Do you even understand what key values your argument is missing?

  1. The SovetSky has the most games of any of these ships.
  2. Which subset of players, played what ships?
  3. Which percentage of “kills” are Ai or actual players?

I genuinely don’t understand how you can have such a warped perception

All too convenient for you.

? They are the all time stats and the most recent ones, no idea whats skewed about that?

Yes so its stats are the most reliable

Probably worse ones than the others considering the most games

The same applies to all other ships stats

No thats just how stats work lol

It’s also a make believe paper boat.

Which would be much less of a problem if Gaijin used all the creative freedom they had to actually balance the thing instead of just creating the object of Stalins wet dreams.

Yep they could balance it tomorrow if they wanted to. And 100% realistically too. Unfortuantely Its fulfilling the exact purpose the Devs want it to. Being the best Battleship in game for their favourite nation. If they balanced it I would actually go play top tier naval again. I still want to unlock Vanguard.

You do not need to pixel hunt the Scharnhorst when the entirety of the barbette and elevator assembly is a weakpoint.

6k more games than Iowa. 7k more spawns.

More win rate %, 160k kills vs 110k, for 800 more deaths.

What’s skewed?

Yes lol you do have to pixel hunt a Scharnhorst. I’ve tried it with multiple ships, hitting barbettes and so on. Lighting them on fire for minutes at a time with no detonations.

And what’s skewed is leaving out vehicles such as the South Dakota and other vessels preforming quite well.
you either include all relevant info, or don’t bother formulating an argument
This little narrative a lot of you harbor about trying to get anything Russian nerfed is getting old.
Find a new act, because for all the complaining a lot of you do over Russian vehicles, you contently ignore the fact other nations have actual over preforming vehicles.

Something something Japan was rumored not be able to build the Yamato something something did it anyway, yada yada

No, you don’t. A Kongou class at 12km can instantly nuke a Scharnhorst through the barbettes fairly reliably. Tosa was an overkill example in the video I posted.

Yeah ”did it anyway“ being the important bit here, alongside 11 heavy fleet carriers, 9 light carriers, 10 escort carriers, 4 fast battleships and 8 battleships.
How many ships did the soviets build again?
So please don’t make me laugh and compare the Japanese to the soviets.

You do know Soyuz project was officially cancelled because engineers couldn’t figure it out how to make solid plates and didn’t have any experience nor idea about how to build battleships on that size right?

What’s next, you’re gonna tell me Project-24 aka Kremlin was also real?

The Soyuz was cancelled due to the invasion of Russia, this is a commonly known fact.

Russia gave up a lot of its in progress ships to scrap them for T-34s and other tanks.

Why? Because it was a Land and Air war for Russia. Not really a sea based war, so logistically and logically there was no true need to keep building ships.

@H_ngma

The US believed Japan lacked the industry and infrastructure to build the Yamato, but they did it twice.

Therefore, a country with vastly more resources and man power can do more than you think. Stop being naive, or biased… take your pick… for one singular moment.
Russia had 22.5x the amount of industrial power in land units, and roughly 2.3-3.0x the amount of production in ship building over Japan during WW2.
Could Russia have focused more into the ship building? Sure. But given Germany was throwing their elite at the Red Army, it was understandably a bad idea to focus on ship production

Yeah and if my grandma had wheels shed be a bike.
Fact is that the soviets didnt build a single modern battleship and struggled more than enough with the way smaller Kirov class.
The point is that none of the important parts was ever finished and there is 0 stuff that it can be compared to, because the soviets didnt build any battleships like that. Thats why Gaijin had every freedom to balance the thing and it wouldnt be unrealistic in the slightest.
