Sovetsky Soyuz is blatantly Overpowered

I wouldn’t mind cannon class destroyer escorts. Especially little Eldridge

just plop into existence squished between two islands, beached ofc and start ciwssing pesky pt boat rats while unable to sink through torpedos. Id play that all day.

I can’t take it anymore… This ship is the worst BS ever… It’s enough! The ammo-rack has to be fixed! I shot this thing last battle 6 times in front turrets 3 times in the back with my Yamato… Nothing, literally NOTHING happens. If they don’t fix this overpowered thing, then Gaijin don’t need to wonder why players gain hate and say russian bias. Because it definitely is!

Because you need to shoot it not in the turrets but behind them or between them, where ammo is.

What range and at what angle? Sounds like bad aim given its magazines are placed in non-conventional positions (behind the elevators instead of in front)

The Soyuz is indeed blessed with heavy Gaijin bias…but don’t forget the other heavy Gaijin bias ships; Sevastopol & Kronshtadt! With 230mm side belt and 90mm deck it can easily withstand 60+ French 13.4“ hits at 12km with almost no effect plus the lethal ONE salvo broadside from 16km. Great fun.

If you can’t pen a Kronshtadt or her sister, you’re either bad at aiming or Gaijin is screwing you.

Dunkerque has more penetration than Kongou at the same ranges and Kongou consistently mag dets Kronshtadt on first strike.

That is if the enemy within decent range, isn’t angled too much, dispersion doesn’t ruin your salvo and the game actually shoots where you’re pointing (a problem that has appeared as of recent in NAB and occasionally in NRB)

Oh, and can’t forget that same enemy playing nice and not moving away from where you want them to be when your shots land. Because it’s really really really easy to dodge ammo from beyond 11km in a battlecruiser with amazing acceleration like Sevastopol or Kronstadt.

Pen isnt everything since it also depends on the angle and since Dunk/Strasbourg shells are insanely fast they come in at not that high angles (unfortunately).

You seem to be really overrating a bit those two ships when they are quite easy to neutralize

They can be annoying when angled and at distance, and sometimes dispersion just doesn’t let you kill someone even if you aim right.

SOYUZ ammo 40kg TNT… rest ships 20kg TNT… give too 20KG TNT for ammo for SOYUZ and SOYUZ is not OP :) EASY :D lets go gaijin ;) idk why he have 40kg TNT… 2x more next yamato and rest.

It’s the deciding factor if you do damage in the first place.

Which is to their benefit since belt armor on the Kronshtadts almost makes the Alaska look armored in comparison.

Think we all know the answer regarding Gaijin and Soviet ships/tanks/aircraft!

No, youre just bad at aiming

ahh… that explains alot

Agreed.

I’ve heard enough. Bismarck to 8.7 and Vanguard to 9.0.
(Does anyone agree with me that torpedo depths should be increased to ~10m so we can get under the armour of battleships?)

No since torpedoes usually instantly kill battleships or severely cripple them at 4m already.

Bismarck suffers similar issues as Scharnhorst abd Gneisenau: Instantly implodes if any shells are dunked down the elevator shaft at mid range.

I really don’t understand what is the logic in demanding everything be pushed up .6/.7 when it will do basically nothing.

I think Ostridge is being sarcastic about saying that Bismark and Vanguard are “better” than Soyuz and need to be increased in BR.
