Sovetsky Soyuuz

Could you load 20 shots with this speed?

Since the ready rack has between 16 and 18 rounds… no. Could you do it for a whole ready rack? maybe not faster than 5 seconds, but at 5 seconds, yes. However, this is imagining a fight where you fire every round in the ready rack as fast as you can. Even with a short few seconds between shots a good loader could easily stick to around 3 seconds. The rounds aren’t THAT heavy, it’s mostly a technique thing.

Could you load them this fast on the ride on max speed on rough terrain?

they didn’t win?? Both sides couldn’t succeed their own objective. Russian history books are a bit wrong my guy

  • Soviets regain territory along a 2,000 km (1,200 mi) wide front after the battle[1]
  • Soviets regain initiative to strike in southern Ukraine

Seems win to me.

I’m pretty sure Kursk is generally regarded as a strategic defeat for the Germans. Furthermore, Russia used Germany’s focus on Kursk to set up offensives in other areas that were very successful while Germany was still recovering from Kursk.

Yep here is 1943 year on eastern front. Kursk in the middle. On the top north is Leningrad where Sovetsky Soyuuz ship has been constructed.
1 centimeter is 75 kilometers scale.

Btw. That how far front shifted during it compare to modern Germany, feel the scale.

no. I want teamwork

then make the reload time slower the more shots were loaded.
Like pilots G-Tolerance gets worse over time

Then get a party.

The whine will be immersive.

better than the injured pilot mechanic^^

in a team based game, I shouldn’t need a squad to have teamwork work.
But this is a way bigger issue and goes off topic

No thanks

Richelieu won’t be the best BB, so be it, the playstyle will still be viable if played right, that’s all that matters

I think we’re gettin a bit off-topic here lmfa, it went from talking about the SovSoy being essentially the next Scharnhorst to Abrams reloading times and now the Eastern Front

Patch tomorrow, beware the great Sovetsky Soyuuz.

Because they already has weak point in tree?
I don’t know why Soviet should be the only exception of what they could get and should be weak.
Acutally, on this state I evaluate Soyuz as necessary evil to stop Iowa being non-defeatable OP.
Soyuz restrainted by Iowa is better than Iowa restrainted by no one.

What happened with the Iowa to make it so good? Wasn’t it predicted as being only good at long range? Does it have the advanced radar FCS with very quick ranging modeled?

They changed how her ammo is loaded. It has 2 rings of ammo and if you run only 50% ammo, it loads bottom up. and so the top ring which was super vulnerable isnt any more. (before it loaded top down)

I think there were some other changes, but that was a big one that I know @SPANISH_AVENGER was very happy about

Nothing seems to have gotten better FCS. Vanguard is a C&P of Hood. Which is annoying

Her ammo loading is like Alaska so completely able to empty shell room above waterline and magazine around waterline. It maximizes as they give best waterline Iowa could get.

Also, thanks to spaced armour finally introduced to naval at this update, Iowa’s main belt protection is at best it could, about 480 mm RHAe. Superior than Soyuz in pure armor effectiveness sides.

It also has better maneuverability, not only on speed side but also on turning ability. Plus additional hydroplane(which excels Soviet KOR-1 in great margin), and better AA.

Currently the advantage of Soyuz over Iowa comes from stock SAP and invincible bow, but other than that, Iowa is just same or better than Soyuz

(I don’t think large filler and faster velocity as pure advantage as now larger filler doesn’t always mean higher damage, and fast shell velocity brings both pros and cons)
