the files in question are: aircraft_guns:assets.bank and aircraft_guns.bank . . . when I replace the realistic combat sounds ones with the funny cloaker sound it just removes all missile sounds but the default gun sounds are present. . . which I do not understand, any knowledge on how to fix this to have both working at once.
not quite, missiles have sound proximity it cuts off at about 2km either way. I understand how some may see it as a cheat but it doesn’t make any difference in my gameplay other than “haha funny” and makes it more enjoyable, but if its in the rules that I’m not allowed to use those I won’t.
First ignore kitsume_qq as I’m not sure what he’s on about.
Regarding the sound mods, some are not compatible with others.
But in this case, if you look at the mods last modified dates, FireXSoldier is updated to match the current update.
The Frankfurters one you linked to is over a year or more old. It’s probably missing certain processes/sounds that have been adjusted/added by Gaijin, so I would not use it.

I’ve got it to half work however. I chose only the .asset files from the cloaker sound while keeping the realistic sounds aircraft_guns.bank , , , all sounds work how they should, EXCEPT the sounds of guns shooting themselves lol and the cloaker sound works but its slightly higher pitched. So its personally acceptable to get the amazing engine and tank canon sounds and the funny cloaker sound all at once!
