Sons of Attila - Rumor Round-Up and Discussion (Part 2)

“Lynx was made for export therefore it won’t be given to Germany”

Looks at Challenger 2E and Vickers series

The double-standards are really out of this planet.

That’s because it’s completely out of sight of the missile it’s something the R-73 shouldn’t be able to do because it lacks the technology to do so.

The R-73 is now overrated to a point some think it’s some kind of apocalyptic doomsday weapon that will finish off the game… calm down.

Besides when a missile is better than another, it doesn’t invalidate it.

  1. Although lacking a helmet mounted target cueing system, the Tornado did have a thumbstick with which to slew the radar target point beam around with, in both horizontal and vertical directions. Of course, this was a fairly standard feature, but importantly in the Tornado, you had a Navigator to handle all that while the pilot got on with flying. Hence the fancy off-bore-sight locking did not require a helmet. We do not have adequate controls in WT to do this with at the moment, but I don’t see why a 2-seater with such a capability couldn’t just have the same mechanics as the helmet mounted radar control system currently on the F4-S for example.

This

The Chaparal is cool but the US needs mid tier SPAA more than anything else in game. Not sure why Gaijin continues to ignore that issue.

Not without doing a quite despective, belittling and condescending “meme” and comments toward the users concerned about the situation before, of course

the giant problem i have with this, is that this would mean the KF51 Panther would go somewhere else as well

Feels sort of like when people were talking about Pythons. and before that 9L and R60M. The game has to move forward at some point. Plus as of current they feel like they flare off just as easily as a 9L

Super Etendard only with Magic 1 because of course

Why am I not surprised lmao

Like I said before. Germany can get everything under the sun, except the stuff they designed and produced. This is a joke.

to be honest, if that is the only change, it is bearly any buff. It has no effecct on missile behavior, and you will not be able to use that in ranges closer than 2km, due to g limit.

Yo @Smin1080p you guys ready to remove Chally 2E and Vickers Mk.7 yet? Since apparently vehicles made for export should not be given to their creators.

At least it gets AAM, looks at Q5L

Half the stream has been focussed on USSR and its not even the main part of the update.

The question is: why does Russia need to have the best IR missile, the best radar missile and the best flight performance, all at once combined into one? Isn’t one, or even two of those aspects enough? ALL of them are needed?

Yes I am aware. It still won’t be able to do what your asking even with it as it’s still restricted to the seeker gimble limits and the game currently doesn’t support the tech required to actually launch a missile that’s out of the seeker gimble limits. That tech being INS for IR air to air missiles

Leclerc AZUR and Super Etendard… Turns out those leaks were pretty much right on the money.

The AIM-9L is not getting a buff, it’s the same as before. It’s just absolutely ridiculous that Russia is now gonna have both the best IR missile aswell as the best RF missile in game.
