It would be extremely weird if Germany didn’t get the 2A7+ at some point. It was first developed for the Bundeswehr and it was qualified by the german MOD.

It’s more accurate to say 2A7V is just a watered down version of the 2A7HUN if anything, since the latter takes on the additional of the Leopard 2A7+ in bulk (including an autotracker for the FCS, which the 2A7V lacks and will continue to lack until the Leopard 2Ax).
We skipped all the variants before 2A4, and 2A7+ is a more armored Leopard 2, confirmed to have better gunner thermals too, unlike the unconfirmed thermals for standard 2A7.

None of them mattered in all honesty - for in game purposes a 2A1 is identical to Leopard 2A4s before 7th batch. What we skipped are the 7th and 8th batch 2A4s in favour of the 2A5.

Italy won’t get the 2A7HU anytime soon. I expect them to get the Leoaprd 2E, maybe not with rank 8 but sometime after.

We could’ve received standard 2A7 as a sidegrade to 2A6 during this year at any time, instead rank 8 is confirmed, more armored Leopard 2s are confirmed, we have IRCCM missiles, we’re getting ARHs this year…

Just cus T-90M is in the files doesn’t mean it will come with Rank 8 ground vehicles, BVM is more than likely to be moved there together with the PSO and the upcoming Leopard 2s (more than likely Leopard 2A5DK & Leopard 2A6MA3). Then give or take 6 - 12 months and we will see T-90M w/M1A2 SEPv2/3 and Leopard 2A7V/DNK/HUN.
Trust that with every new rank, there will always be new tanks. It’s been that way since forever.
Oh, all 11.7 is moving to rank 8 for sure, but more stuff is likely as well.

Optionally fix DM53 to do its damn job (defeating ERA) instead of handing out ammunition that’s not even in use by its creator, and the only thing we know about it is its velocity.
Moving past the SEP, 2A6, BVM, etc. took almost 2 years. Why would the 2A7V and so on get added in less than a year? I don’t see the logic here tbh.
