Should have the same flare resistance as the aim-9l. But yeah go figure…
best airframe doesnt matter if you are not at the same level as the 29SMT or the Block 50 in terms of general capabilities, the most advance radar, missiles, HMD, the most advance Fox-2, the most advance Fox-1s all of this beats the myth of: you have a better airframe! you are saved! Why do I want a better airframe if everything the Mig-29SMT and the F-16C Block 50 have, the F-16A Netz doesn’t.

it doesnt have the same resistance to flare as the 9L, and people knows that well. i prefer the 9L all the damn day for rear aspect situations.
NETZ is a wonderful Plane to fly and I had already very much Fun flying it but no Doubt the F-16C Block 15 will beat it in many Ways. GeeNo_Ms is absolutely right here
its a good jet thoo i have a lot of fun with it messing around but it never was meta, and with this upcoming update just in some hours it would be more off meta.

the reason it takes me so long to reply is because I cant stop getting aces with it as we speak… the average war thunder player isn’t that eagle eyed
I wonder if we’ll get any surprises in the new patch. Grippy maybe? or some cool missiles? or even a T-90M… who knows
getting aces doesnt mean that the jet is meta and dominant, like the jets from Russia and USA in top tier, it means that you are good playing and you understand the plane, and it means that you know how to fight with that plane to get the goal of making an ACE, i can do a damn ACE with a JA-37D and this doesnt mean that the jet is meta or dominant or is good to play against a mig-29 or F-16.

The Taiwanese Block 20 never used the 9M, the 9S was the export version of the M for foreign military sales. It lacked IRCCM.

For exports to Taiwan, the US used export versions of missiles that lacked features. So that is why you see the 9P on exported US missiles in the game already. Countries that we had closer ties/weapon export agreements with such as England received normal versions. Just came down to political red tape and different US administrations stances on international weapons sales.

I will say that currently Taiwan uses AIM-9X Block II missiles on their F-16Vs, so that’s what I mean by it changed over time as ties became stronger between the two.
