Still doesn’t change the fact that Germany doesn’t really need a subtree, you can argue Hungary shouldn’t have been added and it should have been another nation closer to Italy.
The issue is Hungary has some interesting and unique vehicles and Italy needed a friend, the addition killed two birds with one stone so to speak, and they’re a good enough fit that the gameplay benefits outshine the historical awkwardness about it.
So I guess that a no for tonight then ? : (
I like your interpretation. I see you love the England research thread, then listen to the fact that Canada, South Africa, Ireland, Scotland, and especially India, have nothing to do with UK, for the reason that they have all been independent for 70 years. Taking into account also their military transport, which is also not related to the latter. But, for some reason, the players of this tree ask to add vehicles from these particular countries (Excluding subtree), it turns out funny)

have you seen a map of the UK recently?
Also most of the nations you mentioned there are still members of the Commonwealth of Nations, that alone gives them some ties to the UK.

Yes, Hungary has had military connections with other countries but it has been chosen to aid a Tree which lacked vehicles but also has an military connection with so nothing here is illogical.

You know I have been thinking, and yes I know that’s dangerous but…
While I am very excited for the Hungarian subtree I do kinda wish it was at least done in combination with either some Romanian or Spanish vehicles, not as part of the subtree no but more as extra filler. Specifically for the spaa line either in the form of the Spanish Roland or Romanian OSA since one thing Italy is really lacking is a good proper SAM system.
