Theoretically they are presenting neither a hungarian or German KF41. Since its owned by neither state they are just presenting a plain old rheinmetall KF41.

Tbh that was before they made the change as previously iicr they said no for thee UK to get commonwealth vehicles.

Commonwealth isn’t a tt nor a sub-tree, it’s a way of filling gaps in British tt.
Also there’s that known rule about nation-specific-vehicles staying in the previous tech trees if their implementation happened sooner than addition of their respective nation (C2A1 MEXAS, Class 3 (p), Merkava Mk.3D, etc.).

Its a Germany based company developed KF41. Germany as a nation had no direct role in it.
Just like for example the M1A2 SEPv4/AbramsX and Leopard 2A8/KF51. The US and Germany had requirements which the SEPv4 and 2A8 have been developed around, meaning that they had imput in the development.
Meanwhile the AbramsX and KF51 are just private ventures by their respective companies to show off their technological capabilities and/or get some more export sales.
This whole nationalistic “oh my nation developed this” is bs anyway. Fuck no, “your nation” did fuck all. Some company based in your nation designed a thing to be sold to some other nation. All “your nation” did was give a single stamp of approval.
