Sons of Attila - Rumor Round-Up and Discussion (Part 2)

right now Im honestly sad they didn’t stick to their original promise from 7 years ago

this game will at most see Korean war vehicles, we do not want more modern technology in the game

I still remember the complaints when they added 9B and R3S promising nothing later will come

and now where are in this limbo without the slightest accuracy

forgot about those existing, thank you

Potentually. Tornado F3 is the only jet we have in game right now that I think could do with them. But Tornado Gr4 requires them. So there is time for game balance to get to the point where they can added in an unfetted state. But they will need adding

I mean there is point in having this discussion though. He may genuinely be unaware and that’s fine. In which case I aim to educate him of the issues. Gotta be fair, no?

Myech belongs to Su-27 so no idea what you’re talking about, and Zhuk on the Iraqi and Serbian planes were both import versions. Again, as said above, that combat record doesn’t tell the full story at all, lmao.

29SMT’s radar is on-par with F-16’s from what I’ve seen thus far, and 13.0 is excessive for R-73s & buffed 9Ls.
Already notched the radar in custom battles & random battles.

All vehicles have correct ammunition. I think you mean your preferred ammunition.
BVM, Leclerc, Strv-122, Chally 2, Type 99A… all share penetration currently.

Notice, I do not oppose F2 being added, in-fact I’ve been supporting it longer than most.
I’m also among the most vocal on armor being fixed for Leclerc.

@Firestarter
I’ve done all that before this forum started. Notice I addressed G-limits, as that’s what my memory tied to.
Glad you, myself, and Morvan are knowledgeable on Tornado, mostly in slightly different ways it seems.

@someweirdname MICA RF is coming with AMRAAM Cs & PL-12s, it was already announced this will be the case.

I think its placeholder in dev server at the moment,

Buffed 9Ls?

as I said later in the thread they also announced Guided munitions would never come

that one wasn’t true either

Must be hard work being the only guy here who knows anything 🤓

Yes, AB targets can’t flare off 9Ls up to beyond 3km from the rear at least.

@As_H3
No one knows everything.

they’re now like they used to be before the Flare nerf

i have vaguely thrown the idea of having a Eurofighter with 4 ASRAAMs on the fuselage mounts (in a nerfed state) and just the gun. At this point, given our top tier planes cannot fundamentally manouevre for any meaningful (as in, I literally cannot set up a single shot. there’s some planes that can hang/get a single shot in. Tornado isnt one of them against an F-16/MiG-29. Phantom could against F-14s from the headon but it was very much a one shot affair.) effect in a 1 on 1 situation, we really could do with an aircraft that can actually manouevre.

Ooh sweet, they’ve finally been fixed. That took a while to action those bug reports. looking even more forward to the FRS1 at 10.7

So basically Leclerc is being held back 🤣🤣 you are litteraly proving my point but at the same time you keep saying that no tank are held back

9.12 and 9.13 are basically the same thing, the hump back just had a new IFF and FCS in the back, along with extra fuel.

R-73’s should be on the 9.12, fullstop. No need to go to 9.13

Regarding the performance of the R-73, how’s the speed and chase? Still good energy? Thrust vectoring still messing up the some of the guidance? Or has it stabilized?

Yeah, the Israeli F-16 solution. could work indeed. I’d fear the lack of CMs if it was the DA2, but I think it would be very badly recieved if we got any before the germans and italians. But I definetly think a restricted Typhoon is going to be needed sometime next year

ER should be removed from both, and the T from the german.

Absolutely, there are many vehicles being held back by incorrect protection/performance etc, but this guy going to contradict himself at every opportunity just to get a playground ‘no u’ insult in 😂

Being held back is intent, and vastly different in my eyes.
Unintentional outcomes is not being held back, but something else.

@PestoMystic
Mig-29G is still a 9.12. And I support Mig-29G so we have a 12.0 & 12.3 Mig-29.
May come in handy later on.
Thrust vectoring is working well.

@fergui3101
Glad you agree with me that there are many vehicles with incorrect protection & performance BTW.

no the 29G is a Former 9.12A with software updates and a new cockpit

and a cooler camo
