Its is. And i just watched testing of it. R-73 fell for every single flare from all angles, whil Aim-9L not. And no, R-60m hasnt got better flare resistance (and well, r-60m inferior in terms of range)

@Smin1080p @magazine2 why dev devs didn´t put Aim-7Ms in the barak 2 if it is the same radar as the american block 50, at least put them as a stop gap until the AIM-120s man pls!!! it would be a great solution for the time being come on!

The hull UFP has no additional composite armor, that isnt going to change. The thermals might, but the shellw won’t.
At best its a heavy 2A5 with gen 2 thermals.
