Sons of Attila - Rumor Round-Up and Discussion (Part 1)

eh weird, would be very weird of gajin if they restricted it to trust lvl 2

I guess I’ll just avoid this place for a while so I can save my sanity. Thank you anyway.

The Vk3002 (M) was a real tank, as it was effectively the prototype Panther with at least two prototypes completed afaik and the Horten Ho 229 was in production with weaponry when American forces captured the production facility and found the V3 partially finished. Coelian is iffy as only a wooden mockup was completed before the war ended (I support the reason behind its removal, still cool though) the panther II was real just not what gaijin has produced (Just an upgraded panther, no 88). Tiger II was an idea from what i’ve found, e100 chassis was very real just not with the maus turret and i don’t know enough about late cold war aircraft to comment on the Mig

@Pacifica might you know why he cant ignore/block people? seems like the best solution

Horten Ho 229 is pretty much in the same situation as the yak 141, just that it didnt get all its supposed features like the yak 141 did

A little more info on the Panther II, the hull was finished (I think it had a different engine to the one in game, but I’m not sure) but no turret, and then American forces captured it and it had the Panther G turret mounted on it post war.

The Horten was spose to be a bomber not interceptor how its displayed in war thunder, there was a huge hiatus in the forums when it was added with guns but without bombs.

The Ho 229 ingame is the fighter-interceptor version of the original bomber plans, as the Amerika bomber concept wasn’t needed by the end of the war they took what they got and decided to produce a jet powered interceptor

the bomber variant is more feasable, the americans also lost the Ho-229V3 because their ship was sunk.

The V3 is currently is the National Air and space museum, they might have lost something else. Also what do you mean ‘more feasable’ in a game sense or IRL? If this discussion continues ill move it to pm’s

Smin is British and answers he gives are from the devs.

I have zero people ignored because any alleged trolls are better to see rule violating messages.

maybe but in that particular case i see no possible way to communicate with that person, because he doesnt even take proofs and ignores everything

I think the italian ADV tornados only used skyflash TEMP, because it was never upgraded to use AMRAAMS as they only had them until they got their f16s, the british tornado ADV however did use amraams and asraams

Its on display in a museum. Its a deactivated r73 if thats what you mean. They body of the missile is real. The seeker and warhead were removed and made mockups because having high explosive in a museum is usually a bad idea. The r73 in that photo was as real as any other at one point.

Some say they are real and some say they are not real/added afterwards maybe even crafted themselfs just to display it, it doesnt really matter in the end if no one adds any sort of information like technical documents from the NVA for example stating that it used them.
