Britain got its EF Typhoon in 2007 (30 (!!!) years later) with technologies up to time. Now, how do u think what will break the game more - a fighter from 1980 or a fighter from 2007? There are countries in the same situation as Britain - Germany, Italy, Japan, for example. The gap between their current jets and the ones that will come in the future is TOO big. Plus, as we all know Britain is probably will get India as sub nation, so i’d better think this way ;)

The first MiG-29 to ger R-27T(ET) and R-27ER was 9-13S and possibly some russian 9-12/9-13 were retrofited with ability to use them. German MiG never had ability to use them and couldn’t anyhow received it. You can just open 9-12 manual, you won’t find R-27T.

Yes because the MiG29 is already the best in War Thunder.
Why would you buff the best jet when some nations can’t even defeat it, regardless of what they do?
It should be balanced and fair across the board. The MiG29 doesn’t need or deserve to be buffed.
Its fine as is. Its the best A2A platform in game.
To want to further buff it is just whinging that you don’t win 100% of your matches.
R73 is a SRAAM.
R27T/R is a BVR missile. Completely different operational goals.
F-16 is slower, pulls and turns less, has shorter range missiles and a less effective radar.

For the turns worse honestly ever since they changed it I honestly feel like it turns better than the MiG-29
F-16 accelerates faster, retains energy in a superior manner, and has same range radar [because radar missiles are limited by radar range] that apparently notices a Tu-4 at 49km.
72km lock range against Tu-4 for F-16.
Yak-141 is 80km lock range.
When i think about what russia gets and how strong it becomes along with USA and China im not really concerned about the weaker nato countries jet fighters.
The Mig-29G is not in WT right now.
The one we have is 9.12, which can use R-27T.
