The only real thing going for T-80U is M1A1 HC like armor.
ITO, the best SPAA, is not Soviet.
Rooivalk & AH Mk1, the best helicopters, are not Soviet.
CV90120, the best light tank in WT, is not Soviet.
Strv122B, the most armored & armed while being fast medium tank in game is not Soviet.
The best lineup in WT right now is: M1A2 SEP, F-14B, ADATS, F-16A, M1A2, HSTV-L.
The best ground-focused lineup in WT right now is Sweden.
Mig-29 9.12 & F-16A MLU are not in the Soviet tech tree.
Mirage 2000 5F, F-14B, and all Tornado IDSs, the best CAS in WT, are not in the Soviet tech tree.
Python 3 is not in the Soviet tech tree.
Strv 122 has the best armor in WT.
All Soviet ammo explodes.
There is no “best” squadron vehicle.
There is no “best” heavy tanks.

its an A-B-R-A-M-S they are all the same with different ammo.
Honestly: i’m a UK main. Despite the game horribly butchering CR2 and the vehicles at top tier being quite garbage, I like the aesthetic.
For me, if they focussed a bit on filling gaps and not playing to USSR fanboys for few updates. Say…Give Sweden its own big update. Then UK. Then Italy etc.
And really flesh them out big time? That would fix the issue.
Like why not give the UK the tracked rapier or Stormer HVM its LMM missiles?
Why not give Challenger TES its Baracuda thermal camo
Why not give it the Scorpion, Scimitar, Spartan, Fox, Saladin, new warrior variants, AJAX, etc?
Give minor nations a chance to actually be useful to their teams. The game shouldn’t punish you for not playing USSR.

You know what i love about the russian TT ? Its the variety You can choose between T-72 T-90(which i dont have) or T-80, you dont have this with the other nations.

i never had any problems with the abrams usually i go with a single 9M123, and then it blows up its quite fun, but i would prefer the LMUR tho.

The ITO has horrible handling on its missile and half the range of Pantsir. Also no close in cannons. The pantsir also has the most powerful ground radar.
Rooivalk as the best heli??? Lmaoo the Ka50 or the KA52, are damn near invincible, get insane first spawn missiles and cannons, and are nimble. They’re undoubtably the best helis.
The BMP2M is the most powerful light tank the game has. If that doesn’t convince you, the 2S38 will. Both arw horribly undertiered and absolutely stomp.
The T80BVM is the best tank (even voted by Gaijin). Its charges dont detonate, it has an autoloader, the only ERA in the game that destroys APFSDS, its damn near cheating.
The Russian MiG29 is the best a2a aircraft in the gane.
The russians dont have the best CAS, but MIG27K and SU-25 are all incredibly capable.
Russia has the best BVR missile and radar combo
BMP2M is the best squad vehicle
The IS lineup disagrees
Also i’m a UK main. USSR is insanely coddled and has far too much capability right now. Work needs to go to minor nations.

While I agree with some bits of this there are issues I have. The 2S38 is a much better light tank than the CV90120. The AH Mk1 is no where near as good as the Mi-28NM. The best anti air is the Pantsir. Honestly the best line ups are tied between the US and Soviets. The MiG-29 is easily the 2nd best aircraft in the game behind the F-14B. The R-27T at least in my hands has been way better than the Python 3 and with the introduction of the R-73 will continue to have the best mmissile. Soviet ammo does not always explode. And country mains don’t often try to make their country seem better? They complain constantly cuz they want to see their nation be better. If anything I would say I’m a french main atm because I have fallen in love with the Mirage 2000-5F

derivatsiya is technically spaag, not sure why gaijin changed the designation.
I usually play tanks and helicopters only but i think it would be cool to get more cold war missile ships like the krivak, kresta or sowremenny.
Sweden is right there with actual variaty T-80 U, Strv 122B, Leopard 2A6, and CV90120
Or…hear me out - why not give minor nations something that isn’t garbage before we go adding more capable vehicles to the most capable tree? :)
