Well a teaser is designed to generate interest by being purposefully vague which leads to speculation and conversation
A trailer is an advertisement showing a portion of whatever it might be they are trying to sell, or in this case to generate new users who may end up spending money on the game.

I got only good memories of Submarine games back on my DS
quit WOWs long before subs tho
I think subs like that one old DS game would very much fit in Warthunder
edit I just found out that DS game was called Steel diver

Cold Waters is a pretty good modern sub sim, the base game is a little shallow but there are some amazing mods for it
