They aren’t giving it amraams so what’s the point? If the point was to give it LGBs than why not add something like idk the F-111 which is long overdue…it just seems like an odd decision for them to make man.
It’s simple, if a country does a jump from A to C, a subtree of another can add B. It’s foolish to assume any nation besides US/USSR did the same technology jumps.

Stop gap/future proofing. Probably like the Tornado F3, its going to get AMRAAM when they come, probably Decemeber update now.

Not sure i’ve seen many people even talk about this yet but…with F-16C we might see Maverick Gs and E’s with laser guidance rather than TV
I don’t think the current top tier is able to fight against those weapon…
Most of the AA - vt1, adast are tooooooooo weak since the P s-1 verison, and the plane is tooooooo strong
The Gripen C might have forced their hand to be honest, same with the F-15A.
The Gripen A and F-15A were pretty shit, and would have no realistic place in warthunder, and so they are forced to take big leaps in aircraft for everyone to be matched equally.
That’s why we might see the Eurofighter and Typhoon sooner than we think. Maybe end of 2024.
Because the European powers didn’t invest in menial upgrades for a their airforces, and just made the big leaps.

Oh definitely, if the Su-27 model/animation video leak is true. It’s not even textured or highly detailed, so it’s not ready for this update.
Plus it would be silly, and too soon for it.
Yeah, I was honestly expecting an F-15A or even F-18 long before this and like you said other nations need something.

Yeah… The fact this F-16 hasnt been announced with AMRAAM, which would be the BIG thing for the update. Im now expecting it decemeber not this update… So that means no upgrade for the Tornado F3 and no SHar FA2 I reckon now. So that means 3 months of fighting 12.3s with an 11.3. Its gunna suck
I think F15/Su27 will be the last plane in the 2023
