Gaijin really needs to fix F-5. They probably have the lowest heat signature in any High br jet. It’s almost impossible to lock them from 1Km+ distance.
Python 4 is massively superior to both of them. It pulls 70G, has a gimball limit of 180°, a crazy range of 40km (15km-18km practical) and it achives its supermaneuverability not by TVC but rather by having a comically large amount of surface controls, eliminating TVC’s energy loss at sharp turns.
The MiG-21-2000 itself never did, but the EL/M-2032 radar is compatible with them, so meybe Gaijin can round some corners like they did with the Yak-141.
Honestly, it can either be a tech tree, premium, or event vehicle, all goes. It is a very unique and wierd vehicle which is totally justified to not be in the research tree, but I’d highly appriciate it being researchable.
Ok can you missile people please get a room now as this been going on for days
Nah, I think some guessing dev consider new all-aspect infrared homing after Python 3 & PL-8 and new medium-range Air-to-Air Missile better AIM-7M & R-27T this year
I guess big reward summer quest maybe event vehicle 1st aircraft rank VII from china or great britain, or maybe event vehicle 2nd aircraft rank VII from USA
Since we got 4 events and 4 battle passes per year now I would mind if they made into one type of vehicle themed.
So like
Events : Air, Ground, Naval, Combined
BP : Combined, naval, Ground, Air
So by doing this people can pick and choose what event they like to do.
Aim-9M is superior to R-73A which isn’t in the game yet. So expecting Aim-9M when we don’t even have R-73A is pointless.
Especially since we don’t have high-G ARHs yet, missiles that are easier to deal with.
i would still take the R-73 in a dogfight but we are off topic here
Anyway, to break from the hype train, how much do y’all think the devs will folder up in the upcoming smaller patches?
Like, they said they will “compress” the trees a bit, mostly by major models and halve the rp costs of the ones after the first vics in the folders but will they also increase rewards for them, maybe lower their rep costs?
A lot about that topic still seems like an unknown to me.
And of course, the question of, will there be a possibility of even more models of certain vehicles appearing in said folders, idk, like a MiG-23 folder where they also add stuff like 23MLA or 23bis etc. or more A-4s in the A-4 folder. They did mention “variety” but to what extent are they willing to go with that?
Hopefully a lot of challengers are foldered same with like the russian 8.3-8.7 the T-55AMD should be foldered with the T-55A. Other vehicles I could think that would be foldered is M1A1 and IPM1, M48 and M48 Super etc
Yeah any event Gen 4 fighter/interceptor would be worth for me to just buy. No time to grind the event and with the new economy whatever it is it’ll be flyable SL wise. really looking forward to it. Currently I don’t have any gen 4’s and am pretty far off…except that I pre-grinded the Gripen so as soon as it’s in I can get it.
I’ve been wondering the same, there 's a not-insignificant number of aircraft and ground vehicles which are variants of existing ones that we’ve seen in the files over the past few years.
Abt A-4 Skyhawk 's specifically, the A-4M reappeared in today 's episode of the Shooting Range, by Gaijin Entertainment:
It 's gained a new livery and blade antenna in the time since we last saw it, in the 2.7.0.55 leaks:
Holy crap!
Well I guess all that’s still missing is the targeting camera in the nose lol. Can’t recall what it was called tho
You can call it Hank if you think that’s a nice name.
Jk, nice leak. Good find.
I’ve been around for a while, and as I’ve previously stated, this is the place to discuss reliable rumours, not claims that someone has leaked information without evidence.
Such system already is in game
Currently only Harrier GR.7 has it
Well… As much as I hate doing this, it’s not A-4M
It’s an Israeli variant
See the extended tailpipe? No US Skyhawk had that
I hope we get that for the us tree one day.
Bruh, just noticed that. Also explains the fin antenna and the squared off rudder top
