Eurofighter DA.2 - Eurofighter with less capable Tornado engines, equipped with avionics and systems to fire AIM-9L and SRAAM. It’s a demonstrator but a very real aircraft that could bridge the gap.
Sea harrier FA.2 - AMRAAM capable subsonic harrier GR7. Air to air radar, good dogfighter, but the radar missiles would be far less capable given it’s subsonic low altitude in nature, massively reducing range / speed.
Tornado CSP - AMRAAM capable Tornado, AMRAAMs would be lethal but the plane is essentially a glorified bomber. Unable to fight close with anything. Essentiallly a sniper.
Atlas Cheetah - South African mirage knockoff. Essentially the M2K for UK.
Gripen C - South African SAAB gripen
Jaguar Gr.3A - Helmet mounted sight jaguar with 2 SRAAMs, better engines and handling.

well it has a slightly upgraded engine, 1200kW compared to the 1100kW of the Leopard 2A6, i dont know how much of a difference it will make but yeah small bit,
while we are at it why does the PLLS have 700 more PS with the same engine but more weight

those require AMRAAMs which is gonna be a later major patch.

Typhoon would have pretty insane dogfight capabilities but DA2 never fielded radar missiles. it’s IR and guns only, which I think balances it out combined with the shittier Tornado engines.
You’re right, AMRAAM’ll probably come in a big one. Though even just without radar missiles it’d be a capable fighter jet. More hardpoints for AIM9L than GR7 I think. Alternatively, it could field ASRAAM for increased range. More of a medium fighter then.
SAAF tree might never come, but it’s in the Army and Heli trees so i’ve got to assume there’s some kind of possibility that’s not 0. Might be necessary as gap filler.
GR.3A doesn’t sound like much, but it’s actually pretty insane. Jaguar already handles really well for what it is, but if it was fielding ASRAAM (Sorry forgot the A), even just 2 of them, plus a helmet sight system? It’s a lethal multirole at least. Top tier for sure.

like I said I just feel like the first Typhoon we’ll see is a production version, maybe the DA2 could come as an event vehicle but I wouldn’t hold my breath about it
I do hope the SAAF comes to Britain at some point and maybe it will this patch but I’d like confirmation on that before saying the Cheetah and Gripen can come to Britain
the A kinda changes everything, it probably wouldn’t be meta because the Jaguar handles like ass but it would be a fun vehicle non the less

Yeah I mean the Jaguar won’t ever be some MiG-29 levels of capable fighter, but it could definitely score kills consistently on them with the helmet sight and ASRAAM.
More like how the buccaneer has missiles for intercept but is best used defensively.

Honestly, knowing that Gaijin has cracked down on actual leakers, the Pvkv 2 might have been a little project of someone or a quick job to spread doubt about this leaklist.

without the HMS it would only be a little better than the R-73 SU-25 but with a HMS it could be 11.7-12.0 maybe
