Some questionable BR's

So, having recently had the experience of a vampire getting clapped by an AIM-7C from an F3H, it got me thinking, are there any other jets that are currently massively over placed in terms of BR rating?

Not the best “proof” but ok…

There are surely vehicles on wrong BRs…there are routinely BR changes where you can propose vehicles to change…need a better justification than “had the experience” though…
(BTW…devs supposedly use the vehicle performance IN GAME to adjust, which is of course debatable as it is prone to several forms of bias)

I keep saying that words like “massively” should either be avoided or well justified…as they may negatively effect credibility…

I mean, played a match, was flying along, and an AIM-7C came out of nowhere and clapped my vampire. That is the experience.

I highlight it mostly as an example, since the vampire is one of, if not the slowest jet in its BR bracket, with nothing to give it a counter to missiles. It’s fantastic if it can bait people into turn fights, but when people can just lob missiles at it or have exceptional thrust advantages over it, one is forced to question why it is so highly placed.

Because people turnfight it, the same happened to the zeros and meteors. It should be 7.7 at most IMO.

Fair. 8.0 though is BS.

This is actually interesting as it follows RL experience…early radar missiles would only be effective if target was surprised :)

AIM-7C’s greatest attribute is that your plane weighs less after firing.

What about the F18C and FA18C MLU2 being at the same BR? one gets HMD, 120C5, ground ordnance and 1280 more countermeassures

Because this game hates Britain. I mean, we are talking about a jet made during WWII, and slower than even 6.7 jets like the Me 262, Su-7, Yaks, and J-21s, but somehow is 1.3 BRs above (with the slightly faster Venom being 2.0 Bars above 6.7 despite being around the same speed). It’s ridiculous, but God forbid you actually be good at the game. This game punishes good players.
