I’ve been playing for many years and the one area that frustrates me most is solid shot.

Yes you can do a lot of damage but to get that one hit kill is a bit harder than APHE.

I like to play British tanks but have the same basic issue with most of the vehicles, (upto 7.7 at the moment)

To slow to flank, not enough armour to brawl and no APHE for sniping.

Because you need that extra 1/2 second to try and target weak spots for the ammo rack, your opponent will one shot kill you.

If anyone has a guide or best tactics for British tanks I be very grateful for the help.

Yes…Brit tanks were great to pen stuff nobody else could…BUT was much harder to get the kill. This was true on 2pdr, 6pdr and 17pdr…albeit the 17pdr can kill more…

It is part of the game…different tanks/nations get different advantages…i kind of like it…
Even if i said way more than a few “bad” words when i managed to get a very good hit with a brit gun…and then get the pen and little damage…
Made me more aware of the weak spots of many tanks…Jumbo comes to mind…only brits could pen it, but then had to disable it with one/two shots…
