The ItO probably has the best overall missile, not even the Pantsir which only has overall range and sacrifices manoeuvrability in exchange.
its not really, your tornado at 9km will be a huge radar blip if you wanna stay outside of pantsir range and anyone with few braincells can see that suddenly something starts falling from that tornado towards them
pantsir should never have been added, it should be tor m1 from the start

sure itll tell you its more maneuverable on paper, but in the end, thanks to the mass, the tors missile, even if its more maneuverable, its not to an extent thats worth even talking about. its also slower, which means it will need to pull more to hit targets that are evading, and targets will always be evading because of how the tor works, even the crew on the ISS will know it has fired, meaning that any possible advantages it might have are wasted. the differences are negligible, and without the benefits the pantsir gives you, its by definition just worse.
are your friends using the 3 point guidance mode? if so tell them to stop that, both the pantsir and the tor will benefit massively from you just manually guiding it
9km? lol 18km dude. I’ve never been closer than 12km with the Tornado, and Pantsir range against fixed wing aircraft is ~13km.
TOR-M1 is a sidegrade.
the beauty about this is that people get cocky, thinking i wont be able to hit them at 18km. theyll fly in a perfectly straight line and suddenly explode. just my experience using it though.
You mean they fly like a drone instead of like a jet.
oh im aware, but at this point thats most nato cas players. either a straight line on the deck or 10km up in the sky, either way theyre very easy to hit. if youre not bothered to do it yourself turn on 3 point and switch targets, itll basically perform like a sarh at that point and almost always hit since they will rarely take specific action against your missile as they dont know its coming
Every time I get into SPAA, I face the CAS players that fly like they’re supposed to and get nothing done.
It’s why I have sim matches in a lot of my SPAA cause CAS tends to be a bit less aware there.
if we are preventing them from getting stuff done its still a win for us id say. the S1 dot on rwr is our best weapon xD

It pulls a consistent 33G in-game if memory serves correct, that’s pretty noteworthy in my opinion.
You’re yet to tell me why Russia should receive the Tor M1 besides just coping and overestimating the Pantsirs missiles.
Russia can maybe get the Tor M2 in the future at 12.0 or 12.3 but for now the Tor M1 isn’t a necessity for Russia, Italy and Japan should be priority for high tier SPAA first alongside Israel.

The Pantsir S1 is staying that’s why, too many people have it for them to take it away and making it exclusive to people who already own it would be unfair as newer players won’t be able to unlock it. I don’t honestly know why Russian players are so fixated on the allegedly trash Tor M1, yall will eventually get a better variant of the Tor anyways (like the Tor M2 and such).

They aren’t going to remove a good AA at top tier.
Instead, just give other nations an equally good AA.
Not on the level of the Pantsir S1 which is the backbone of Russian ground forces, without the Pantsir NATO vehicles like the F-16C would obliterate Russian teams.
The USSR doesn’t need anything new anywhere (except maybe fixing the drag on the R-77). They could be completely ignored for the next year and would still have decent kit.
