Are A10s supposed to show up at 6.7? This is arcade btw.
Yea, nothing like battling in my Tiger I only to be destroyed by an A10 or a BMP with wire guided rockets. Wasn’t sure a BMP could take 3 rounds broadside from my Tiger II and then kill me with a weapon not designed yet but it can!

If you have that much problems destroying bmp in tiger 2 it is pure skill issue.
Wt is not a historical game, it is a combat vehicle simulator so I guess you two just picked a wrong game.
An A10 in WW2 and he still only came third …Facepalm.

Even WoT does not have such insane tech modernity difference . Arcade is low-effort, badly executed idea. At this point just make it a free for all lol. A10 vs ww2 tech? holly fanboy

Arcade is just that.It’s a bit of fun.If I saw that in GRB I would probably quit playing or just never leave 4BR again.
I do believe that the game unravels at 6-7BR where WW2 slams into Cold War and in this case almost modern day.I think now is the time to address this.Talk of balance isn’t cutting it.
Yeah wot has only double barrelled tanks, invisibility cloaks and rocket boosters… which is also fair, it’s their choice of gameplay, analysing it historical wise is purely pointless.
Many feel War Thunder is heading that way.An A10 in WW2 is proof it is for some.
One swallow doesnt make a summer… an A10 that you have a chance of getting for 40second bomb run doesnt prove a thing.
Besides, not many. There are vocal groups on forum discussing some topics over and over again. Majority of players who dont mind, for example, cold war vehicles on lower BRs, dont partake in those discussions because they like the status quo

I find plenty of things annoying about this game and I fear for the way it’s going. I still accept it all and I still play.
I have stormed off in a huff for a few weeks here and there when Gaijin ruin things, as I see it. The OP did say he was not enraged by the WW2 A10, just questioning it.
Same answer to most of these issues. Nothing will change so leave or except it. Sadly, that is true.
I get the fact WT is not historical and I get the idea that it could be and maybe should be.
All I can do if I am not in the mood for the Future Past scenario is retreat to the lower tiers and hope for the best.
I think the issue is ranks 1-5 cover ~6 years of technology with loads of tanks being made during WW2, while 6-8 covers 80 years of technology and only a handful of unique tanks each decade.
