They already had the first update of the year nothing. So what is the major update the last one what. Its very very vague

Great european nations and likely russia get a heavy sam when will japan which has been ignored. And technially has a heavy sam in game that has been knee capped

How do you kill a heavy same got to kill both the launcher and radar or what ?
Yeah truthfully vague and obtuse . These shouldve of been done a update or two before hornets sting.
Jokes aside, yeah I hope Japan gets a better SAM. The Type 81c is actually quite effective since its fire and forget but the range and lack of radar knee caps it.
Atleast Japan is probably getting a new jet (No F-2 because its Japan )))))
Heavy SAM? As in something like a S-75, S-300 or Patriot?
Usually you have to destroy the fire control unit and it disables the whole thing.
Some systems have independent fire control systems though, like Buk
I doubt we’ll get any player controlled systems like S-300, Patriot or S-75.
We’re more likely to get more mobile SAM systems instead, with a seperate and movable launcher and radar like the IRIS-T SLS and other similar systems
Something like Buk I feel is on the edge of what I think will be player controlled, they could have the launcher and radar vehicle be a seperate vehicle like how you could switch between a drone and light tank. But one can only guess right now

You know what I love about japans totp tier sam it cant even lock with its heat seeker a helicopter simply sitting on helicopter spawn
It actually locks pretty far, but clouds and simply having terrain in the background behind the target is enough to disrupt the lock range, yeah
The Type 81 with the ARH missile is a possibility this year depending on how they will do the multi vehicle SAM’s. A bit more range and its still FNF which is nice. But one can only dream
well on jets it does not on most helicopters who are are equipped with ir jammers and some even without it because they are so small of heat sign
I like your hopeful outlook but lets be honest either we get the arh or the radar unit not both
We’ll see, they’ve been cooking alright recently despite the BS they’ve also thrown in.
The SEAD event gave me hope for a new and positive direction for WT in the future.
The arh shouldve of come out well before the f-18 came out but nope
