I usually use scroll wheel to zoom.
I seem to be unable to smoothly zoom when in game, in the hangar I can zoom using mouse wheel just fine, but in battle only toggle zoom works, and only to zoom in, to zoom out I have to touch the scroll wheel in any direction.
I’ve tried restarting, loading old control schemes, clearing all controls, loading one of gaijin’s default control schemes, turning off soundmod helped for one launch of the game, but then the issue came back, and toggling soundmod on and off again did not help.
assigning a different key to zoom in did not work, and zoom does not change, even though the game registers the key press through another input.
toggling the relative control, etc. did not change anything.
I can use a key to toggle zoom in all the way, but then can’t zoom back out using the toggle, and can only un-zoom with my mouse wheel, whiling spinning it in any direction.
completely unbinding everything from the zoom axis allows me to use toggle zoom as intended.
I’ve recently been toying with opentracker + vjoy to look around in the game with, but those didn’t initially cause this issue, and I’ve uninstalled them now and am still experiencing the issue.
the zoom does not work properly on planes, helicopters, tanks. in third person or first. I don’t use zoom on ships so idk.
I’m really not sure what the issue is, any suggestions on what troubleshooting to try next would be appreciated, the game feels unplayable to me this way as I’m really used to zooming.
