aim9m’s and aam3s are much more visible now. for aim9m’s this is a massive loss.
Not a bug ))))
regardless of what it should be, thats first part is a really bad example because even if there was smoke you wouldnt be able to see it against the white cloud
gaijin probably just forgot about smokeless missiles when changing the smoke effects on missiles
if it was dark smoke like it is ingame you would. and generally if there was any degree of smoke resembling the one we have right now ingame it would be visible, i wouldnt mind more visible missiles if done REALISTICALLY, which would mean the motor be pretty much impossible to see, but CONDENSATION under CERTAIN meteo conditions causing the trail.
It should definitely recieve the long needed buff to All-Aspect shutoff, if you can see the missile now, the gimmick of it being invisible vanishes, and now puts all the weight on the IRCCM, which is shit
it was already the worst top tier fox 2 now its dead
Tbh i find 9m to be more useful than r73
R73 literally gets 1 flared even at close range
9m just doesnt care if your not flaring it properly
Same with aam3
nah in my experience both are incredibly inconsistent in terms of flares, Rear aspect Aim9ms are a massive gamble, rear aspect r73s kills most times, and r73 can be very sneaky as it can nail people at insane angles even in front aspect.
i prefer r73 by far. sometimes you could sneak front aspect 9ms but i doubt its goign to be possible now.
yeah i saw that
surprisingly the Chaparral smoke trail seems to be the same as smokeless missiles now. which means its not smokeless but its much shorter, doesnt seem to be related though, as its every chaparral missile
i tried it and also got launched at
you can barely see it
same, but i could definetly spot launches, at lest the few i managed to have.
its not going to matter on the adat because i could already see if it was launching a missile
tbh its a bit more realistic now
adats already goes invisible after a relatively short time so its not that bad. but the adats is the last Spaa to need nerfs.
i can honestly accept that, at least its now easier to hit a close target
why so?
before the missiles were pretty much completely smokeless so you have no idea where to aim or lead at close range, it was easier at long range. But now during the motors burn time, there is a bright burn and a missile trail
