CAMM and CAMM-ER missile stats for those who are interested

It seems the CAMM-ER can reach > 1500 m/s ingame

So the stat card lied about camm er lol

Delta V isnt speed

Change in speed to be precise, but since they’re launched from the ground delta V should be the same as max speed?

if someone want to write a issue, some date that maybe useful to make changes: @DevilO6
Land Ceptor on target in latest success for MBDA’s CAMM interceptor | MBDA

Land Ceptor with CAMM is the latest generation of air defence system, providing exceptional capability from very short ranges (VSHORAD) below 1 km into the medium range air defence (MRAD) tier beyond 25km.

CAMM family brochure 10-2021

CAMM and CAMM-ER have been designed to counter
the ever-changing threat spectrum:
• Precision Guided Munitions (PGMs)
• Fast combat jets
• Supersonic sea-skimming anti-ship missiles
• Low radar cross section cruise missiles
• Pop-up targets such as helicopters
• Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS),
Unmanned Air Systems (UAS) and drones
• Threats protected by chaff/flares and/or
electronic countermeasures
• Fast Inshore Attack Craft (FIAC)

Im working on both minimum range and multipath.

ca1fcc47a242d7abb8b7be496006af3f60m it’s really too high

Delta V isn’t speed but it is the change in speed, surely if they’re launched from 0 m/s and the delta V is > 1500m/s they should be exceeding that speed in certain conditions.

But you will lose speed from things like drag and the delta V will “replenish” it as you reach higher speeds, you might be gaining and lose speed at the same rate

At least that’s how I’ve always seen it

One thing I have noticed about the CAMM missiles is that when using the turnover pack, they do not lead the munition they’re firing at in the cold launch stage.

They pop up and turn to the targets position when you clicked fire, rather than where the target actually is. If they were changed to turn to the targets predicted position, they would lead way better at close range targets.

Dont worry, i got that already covered.

Updated the bug report list, it is now up to date

That got accepted?
I’m somewhat surprised but sure as hell not complaining.

It did got accepted, but with a great dose of uncertainty. This report has a higher chance of being denied for game convention than being implemented, but the attempt was made.

Also, anything on ECCM? I know Pantsir has ECCM on 95Ya6, and i’ve noticed CAMM falling for chaff a fair bit especially against helicopters.

There is no ECCM in game. Pantsir is SACLOS, so the player controls where the missile go, and it can operate in IR lock.

This is on the missile statcard.

IRCCM not ECCM.
Missile is tracked by IR flares in the back of it. Without IRCCM, tracker could be jammed by for example Shtora

That abrams has IRCM, missile flies fine

ItO lacks IRCCM, missile gets jammed

yes, many of these missiles are tracked by radar irl, Gaijin does not model it.

Noticed something that may be an issue with TWS in general but causes some pretty severe issues with TWS on sky sabre. Receding targets (say receding at 900m/s) on its first detection is detected as approaching at the same speed (so in this example at 900m/s), which means it will fail to engage receding targets like 90% of the time.
