Sky Sabre/Land Ceptor - CAMM on Ingerland

mad dawg?

firing without a radar

Oh. Tho it is not Mad Dog. It will be able to provide DL.

As much as the ability to use independent launchers is great i’m probably going to treat it as an absolute last ditch. There is a huge capability leap between “ripple off all your missiles on separate targets in sequence” and basically type 81(c) larp.

Just for anyone that doesn’t know, its called Land Ceptor when only the launcher vehicle is used, when it is paired with the radar and control module, its called Sky Sabre.

The real question is if it’ll unseat the IRIS-T as the best SPAA.

Hopefully but that might not even be the CAMM the unseats the IRIS-T. I think the Aster 30 will be the dominant missile at Top Tier

Aster 30 benefits from not having a 6-story building for its search radar.

The question is how the ARH will work vs Helis and everything flying low.

Also how easy they are just to notch. You dont get any warning from an incoming IRIS-T SLM, you will with the CAMM-ER

I wonder if we can get them to implement the different height settings for the radar. So it can be a little lower. Also the launchers should be able to operate independently as well

The launchers are fitted with their EO sensors so I suspect they will operate independently just fine.

Does also mean we can switch off the SR and just jumpscare people with EO-cued CAMMs.

I think smin said its not been implemented yet. So Bug report and a massive battle will likely be needed

No NCTR?

How can the radar be 20km but missile be 25-45km? How can i missile lock onto a target outside the radars range? Am i being dumb?

Statcard bugged. Radar is 120.

Also, multipathing appears to still work, rendering all these new fancy ARH SAMs useless (except the buk, which has a warhead so big it doesn’t matter.)

It has NCTR, not listed.
Rn the radar is capped at 40 km, with normal fighter detected at 10

Ouch.
Noticed similar stuff testing against the SAMP/T, with a fighter detected at 20km. Perhaps the radars are placeholders for now?

very much are
