yeah, the big one being SPYDER that never recived its 40km range derbies to go along with the SLM meaning besides british players complaining there is no reason gaijin would need to model the ER, tbf we could see MR if it comes with patriot but I highly doubt it lol

There are 3 vehicles in the land ceptor system minimum, I wonder how they are going to classify a kill on it - especially as the launchers themselves are technically capable of operating alone, firing LOS.

Also, I hope gaijin gives it two launchers like the other SAM systems and not just one xD

The same way as on Tan-SAM Kai. Once the radar is dead, you use the launchers, but without it. The only difference is that while Tan-SAM is left with maddog only for its ARH, Sky Sabre will be able to provide DL.

Yeah, the disclosures said everyone who didn’t get a multivehicle SAM would get one this update so unless they pull something out of their ass, it in all likelihood will be the Sky Sabre.

There’s a chance for the SANDF Umkhonto, due to the slightly shorter range (15-20km vs the 25km plus for CAMM) which is more inline with other SAMs in game (apart from the IRIS-SLM). I’d like to see both though, Umkhoto is IR rather than CAMM’s ARH seeker, which should be better in some situations, so both would be a good covering of all situations.

That is only one of the Umkhonto missiles, other are longer range.
On another note, if what Bvv_d said comes to life, next patch 20km will be considered a short range.

I haven’t heard that IR Block III or R had been “released” yet? Eitherway I’d still like to see both

Definitely hoping for this. I love playing (SP)AA and having a high performing system for the UK again would be phenomenal.

God Britain needs a win for top tier ground. This with CAMM-ER would do that perfectly.

Even without CAMM-ER. I’d take anything more capable than the ADATS.

My main improvement would be the comedically tall radar UK sky sabres operate. The treeline drives me insane using direct fire systems.

Yeah, CAMM would be better than ADATS by a long long way. But given IRIS-T SLM exists. CAMM-ER is perfect to match it.

Personal opinion:

  • CAMM stock
  • CAMM-ER as a mod
  • allow mixing of the two missiles, like what SPYDER can do

I would. base CAMM has a lower signature primary motor and would be better suited for short range fire and weapon intercepts. CAMM-ER is the one i’d be willing to throw 15km+ at unsuspecting aircraft.
