Yeah that’s what I was thinking but according to some material I just read not all of them had a proxy, so idk. Gaijin might consider it op with proxy fuze at 9.x, but at the same time only two of them with no gun is too little for higher. So idk how it’s gonna be, they may remove proxy fuze for balance which is gonna be a disaster

the F-102 would be hot garbage even at 8.3 its a DOA plane unless they give it GAR-11A and i doubt that

Nah. They can just not give it the AIM-26B if they worry about the balance.
An F-102A can only fit a single AIM-26B in the weapons bay, mixed with AIM-4 Falcons, or two AIM-26Bs alone in the weapons bay, according to SAC.

the sea vixen gets missiles with better range they are faster and actually have proximity fuze paired with probably the best flight model at 9.0 the F-102 on the other hand gets missiles that can dodged by rolling left slightly and what’s likely to be a pretty bad flight model outside of going fast in a straight line
But of course Israel needs a Greek subtree! How else are they going to get copy-pasted Leopard 2A6s?
It’s not like there’s an alternative subtree option that’s much more unique with a much better reasoning for being with Israel and with enormous community support for its addition or anything…

If the F-106 is anything to go by, the F-102 won’t have a bad flight model at all and the Vixen doesn’t get an IRST (pretty sure the F-102 in the trailer has one, but I might be wrong) or SARH missiles
The lack of a proxy fuze isn’t gonna matter if you just go for unaware targets, just like you would with the Sea Vixen or the F-106 most of the time.
They literally once said about the Dutch F-16AM premium that it’s unique because it has a different targeting pod than the tech-tree F-16AM. So unique!!!

Unsure. F-102A cannot go supersonic at sea level, and its radar and AIM-26Bs are useless at low altitudes because the radar is not PD. It can hunt Tu-95s and AFKing & climbing fighters with AIM-26Bs.

Sea vixen is good. It’s obv worse since it went up but it’s still great performance for a subsonic with decent missiles
