History:

The PA-II Zelva

The Skoda PA-II “Zelva” or vz.23 is a Czechoslovakian armoured car based off the semi experimental PA-I with the blueprints made in the fall of 1923. The first batches of these armoured cars were completed during the summer of 1924 and entered service in November 1925.

The car wasn’t considered to be very impressive in Czechoslovakian service due to its sole armaments being maxim machine guns, meaning it would stay clear of vehicle to vehicle combat. It was also bulky, heavy and cramped for it’s crew. This lead to the car being mostly used by the police and in parades while the vz.27 armoured car would be used by the army instead.

3 cars were sold to the Austrian police in 1927 to compensate for not delivering a batch of vz.27s.

The Austrian cars would go on to combat the Nazi coup in 1934 while the Czechoslovakian cars would serve a uneventful career in the police. Late, some cars were seized by Germany and then used as radio vehicles all the way up to 1945 in spite of it’s limited capabilities.

PA-II Dělovy
One prototype (and the subject of the suggestion) had a 75mm Skoda L28 in a bulkier hull to carry out artillery support in 1927. It is unknown what was the fate of the prototype.

-1, this only had HE and shrapnel. The penetration would be poor.

75mil explosive rounds do fine at 1.0, lots of tanks have cupolas or are just open tops.

Rarely you will meet an enemy with a lot of roof armour.

Are you joking? Average reserve vehicles are M2A4, BT5, A13, PZ III. No new player is going to know to cupola shoot, this would just suck for noobs.

Can be added as event or premium vehicle just like Garford Putilov?

Imo it could work as part of infantry if we ever get it for ww2. Maybe the first tier 1 squadron?

M2A2 and T-60 are bad tanks for new players.

Maybe instead of twisting the entire game to new players, Gaijin can simply add even the most vague mentions of strategies like flanking, weakspots or simply picking your fights.

The current tutorial just tells you that “APCR pens a lot but does poor post pen damage”, your bullets have falloff and basic controls of your tank.

Never teaches about even reading the stat card of a shell, and vehicle stat cards straight up lie sometimes.

WT tutorial is a joke, even if WT was watered down to kindergarten level it would still be a bad tutorial.

Bro was stung by a bee. Easy +1. If I can consistently ace in the Garford, I can do the same in a deformed armored car with more than twice the speed.

kills M60s in three shots to the cupola bro

M2A2 and T60 aren’t great, but they’re workable and also incredibly old additions to the game. In my honest opinion they should be rank II locked like the French tanks. New players should not be expected to have much skill.
