I feel the new player base has lost the aspect of map control. Spawn camp will happen no matter where and what the snail does. You can have hard spawn immunity for the first 500m of movement after spawn and you will still get camped, just at a new location.
They have, and it’s actually sad to see.
The ammount of complaining about the game compared to actually getting on with it is a problem.
I had some guy complaining that they were got whilst they were AFK, and they almost needed to be reminded that they didn’t tell anyone they were AFK.
the problem lies in game and map design, when you can spawnkill from half the map (or basically from close to your spawn in some maps), there’s a problem. Also spawnkilling while being undercover shouldn’t be possible.
when you have low velocity and a balanced meta, there’s no problem, you can counter spawnkilling pretty effectively. but when it’s about 1500-1800ms laser rangefinding weapon, you’re dead before having any chance (and let’s not even start with CaS).
balance could be better but I think the devs are doing the best they can, Russian bias with ERA though its a big issue with balance with those vehicles
