Nothing “wrong” with the Israel TT per se, it was just better as part of the USA tree as the actual unique stuff would cover the holes in USA and visa versa.
But people demanded it be broken out as independent and are now demanding sub trees to fill the gaps that would not be there if it had remained as a USA sub tree.

Israel is a independent TT you like it or not, and it needs subtrees, Greece and Cyprus are coming so Singapore isn’t needed but from getting splitied it would be ok to be also a subtree to Israel,

I can’t think of or see anyone demanding Israel TT to get subtrees. I can say I’m seeing people who want Israeli made/modified equipment.

Singapore should either be a subtree for Japan or for Korea. US is an option too.
No nation deserves to be divided up between other tech trees, making it impossible for Singaporeans to play even a single lineup of their own nation.
BTW there was already a poll thread likes this, and even that gave the same results as this one.
Typically, I main Israel, so I personally object to the addition of the Hunter. Israel already has three separate 30mm Bushmaster 2 Spike vehicles at that BR bracket, while there are significantly more unique Israeli vehicles that could fill the gap between 10.0 and 11.3
Israel also desperately needs an SPAA between 9.3 and 12.7
I also highly object to stating Israel should be a sub-tree of the US because it wouldn’t work. Israel relied heavily on a mix of NATO and Warsaw Pact equipment during its wars up until around 1973. Tanks like the Tirans and Sho’t Kals were instrumental in their victories over the Arab League, but would not fit within the US. What some people don’t understand is that Israel is a nation that represents modification as its unique aspect, not always ground-up designs. Many of those vehicles are exceptionally fun to play and deserve a right to be in the game, but vehicles like the Tirans, Sho’t Kals, PT-76-2000, and more wouldn’t suit well in the US tree. Israel is also a regional superpower, which was a main reason why it got its own tech tree to begin with, just like the Koreas, which will come to follow soon.

Adding Israel to the game in 2022 as a fully independent TT was a big mistake, as big chunks of the tree weren’t even there and most vehicles were uninteresting pieces of tech following the “me takes vehicle, me slaps ERA on vehicle” pattern.
But you cannot fix mistakes this big though.

I don’t want to de-rail the thread again as it’s about Singapore, not the wisdom of the independent Israeli TT, but people keep giving the Japan and Italy examples to justify Israel, Japan at least was added when War thunder was an exclusively WW2 plane game (not sure about Italy, I was late too the party). By the time Israel was added Gaijin should have realized the issues with building a full TT around small nations.
IMO maybe 3 Magachs where worth adding, the Merkavas obviously, the Namer and the Eiten.
Air has a few side grade planes with some domestic missiles.
Helis are pure copy slop.
You cant really claim that that’s enough for a full TT while insisting India is a sub tree or CANZAC shouldn’t be added.
So to get back on topic Singapore should join South Africa and India as a Commonwealth Republic tree, while Canada, Australia etc either go into the UK or form a Commonwealth Ream tree

I guess it’s how different people view adding red/blue origin vehicles to opposing sides like the umpteenth discussion on certain USSR/German ww2 vehicles.
Then again since Japan is now able to run around with Polish, Ukrainian, German, Russian, American, Chinese, Swedish and French built equipment in a single line up I would guess Gajin wouldn’t really care about that.
Tbh I really don’t think Japan needs a 4th subtree (at least of this calibre). I think Singapore in Israel is probably one of the better options since ASEAN probably won’t be a tree (or if it somehow does, it’s gonna take years).
