Since the Machbet had APDS in real life, should it recieve it in-game?

Currently, the Israeli Machbet lacks defense capabilities. Unlike the Gepard, it can’t kill tanks, lacks a radar, and doesn’t have a stabilizer. Even the Shilka, found significantly lower, can defend itself much better. In-game, only a single 20mm Vulcan gets an APDS belt found on the Japanese PG 02, seen below.

Considering that similar BR AA systems have significantly higher penetration and come with their own APDS belts, it might be time to give the Machbet a small buff with this belt out of fairness.

What does everyone else think about this?

I have no problem but. Gaijin would likely push it up in BR. That just tends to be how it works sometimes. Imo i cant see it being that big of a threat but them mocing it up wouldn’t suprise me.

Yes, it used Mk.149, aswell as the normal M163/Hovet. Sadly, Gajin hates all 3 for 0 apparent reason.
