Recently I’ve starting flying some in simulator battles and I’m very much enjoying it. I have noticed that there seems to be a lack of squads and communication there however.
I’m interested in joining or forming a squad for flying in simulator battles and would appreciate any advice or feedback.
Communication in simulator battles tend to not be entirely lacking, the fact that people uses T-4-1 (“Follow me” in this case) is a good example of how good is communication compared to any other game mode.
I’m talking about communication in a multiple aircraft engagement. Without voice communications or a check 6 key with a callsign attached to it I can’t tell my teammate who’s flying straight and level that he’s about to get blown away. Ive flow with some guys in RB using discord and we were able to get missions with 3+ kills each easily. The problem is they don’t fly in SB. I think if this was used in SB that it would be advantageous and I’m looking for others who would be interested.
There should be a voice chat in sim, as well as being able to see your teammates on the map. Warthunder sim just hate teamwork and dont give opertunety to players to talk to eachother. And the radio should work as in real live, there should be few chennals and you could chose witch one you want to speak in. And some channels should be sheared with the ennemy. So about 7 channels? That seems realistic dont you think?
A check 6 key-- when you are looking at a friendly and press the key the friendly receives a pre recorded radio message that says something like “you got one on your tail” it shows who sent the message. It’s very helpful.
There is a range radio button-- You can transmit on for up to 4 seconds. Everyone in the vicinity can hear you. If they don’t want to hear you they can mute you.
There is also a voice channel for your squad as well as numerous channels you can use tune to with your friends if you want.
